Kara’s artistry on beam is unmatched! Well deserved 10.
she finishes every line, executes every move so beautifully. her lines are gorgeous. wow.
I really hope she is able to make her way back to gymnastics sometime, she has such beautiful charisma. I hope the coach who treated her so badly never gets another chance to be involved in the sport at all. There’s no excuse for it.
Gorgeous routine. Well deserved 10.
I absolutely LOVE her choreo!! We need to see more of this at the elite level instead of the rapid random hand waving lol
I agree that her choreography is fabulous and worth copying at the elite level, but the choreo/acrobatics ratio is way off in this routine. She definitely needs another acro skill in there.
I mean that’s the NCAA’s fault, not hers
@@findingthatperfectspot4692 yeah I understand. I just mean that I would love to see elite do more artistic and interesting things.
@@SquirtlePower809 Oh, I totally agree on that...
I love her on beam! She's so good and elegant. Reminds me a little bit of Shannon Miller with the specific movements.
Best beam routine ever.
Stunning ❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥
This is a comment on the camera angle...or the lighting...with that light bar stretching across the arena, the dark leo and the dark background above and below the light bar, it was very hard to see the gymnast when the camera was perpendicular to the beam.
That was beautiful!! Go Red Rocks!!!!
Very feminine, graceful work.
I'm so sorry that she retired from gymnastics because of an abusive coach at Utah.
😢😢😢😢😢😢😢
Needs another skill in there like a front aerial, too much choreo.
There is only choreo, I don’t get the 10 lol
@@helsanucci980 Me either. Have you seen Helen Hu from Missouri on beam? She's absolutely incredible and does REALLY hard skills. I feel like she always gets underscored because she's not on one of the "better" teams.
@@Upstaged07 yes I think , it’s « like that » , sadly . Like in elite , lot of gymnasts were underrated because they were not « famous » ..
@@helsanucci980 Yeah, Suni is great but some of her 10's are not completely deserved. Same with Jade. Here's one of Helen's that got a 9.95. She blows Kara out of the water and yet no one has heard of her! czcams.com/video/8quu1s7eVcs/video.html
@@Upstaged07 yes totally agree
She gave up because of an abusive coach.
girl while the routine is clean but WHAT DID SHE DO besides that round off, flip flack???? i am so confused. compare this to Leanne Wong's 10, this is laughable.
She did a leap series as her mount (and the initial mount itself was a difficult skill) which gave her bonus points. The acro series was also very difficult which gave extra tenths as well. It was an AERIAL to layout step out, not a round off
@@RealSportsClips oh i see. still compared to the others, still doesnt' feel right with a 10. college gymnatics is just too messy
They literally have requirements to meet in order to have a 10.0 start value. She meets those requirements. Some gymnasts choose to go above those requirements.
Is Leanne still competing elite too? I can’t remember. If she is, she’d want to have more tricks.
@@sarahgwizdala4468 i mean i hear you but talk about being bland and boring but a 10 is a 10.
2 passaggi acro e basta?!?! Ma per piacere!...
This was a very clean and beautiful performance but not 10 worthy. A spin into a lean and 1 combination does not equate to a 10. This routine was more dramatic than Gymnastic. Just my opinion
That’s now how that works. There is an objective code to follow in order to get a 10.0 start value and she had no mistakes
@@RealSportsClips I see.
Wait this is beautiful don’t get me wrong but in the Olympics they do way more elements. She only did 2 elements not including the mount. Gorgeous nonetheless but can um someone help me understand 🙊😅 I was like where’s the wolf turns, and double Arabian front, and 3 flip sequence🙊🙊🙊
Different rules for college gym. They don’t train as much either. Only allowed 20 hours a week versus upwards of 30-40 for elite.
Please, no more wolf turns. We are fortunate to have been spared them here...
i think the attire wasnt skimpy enough
Wtf frank
spoken like a true beta simp.
The judges used to give deductions for ill-fitting leotards. Right now, just about every team in the NCAA needs a refit. The leos are just a distraction from the gymnastics. Why are leotard companies doing a disservice to these athletes?
@@debrapruitt9802 If you compare different gymnasts, Kara's Leo is fitted ok. I found Sunis Leos often ill-fitted.
If the gymnast feels comfortable, than its ok with me.
Just admit that you can’t watch women compete without getting limp dick
