  • This is a string of 39,999 Chinese firecrackers - the longest available roll. These are not the US-legal firecrackers which won't break the skin - these huge salute-like firecrackers have a clay plug and is a lot more powerful (and louder too).

      It's probably designed to be used with a longer lighter, but yeah, definitely needs to be made longer

    2 questions. How much and how bad was the pain when you lit the thing!?

      @sixthsealEats  Před 8 lety +2

      +limosine I didn't feel a thing to be honest! I was quite lucky, I managed to pull my hand away at *just the right time* before everything lit up. If this were a 3,000 count firecracker like this:
      sixthseal.com/2014/02/waterproof-firecrackers/
      Which is also sold in other countries like US, it'll not be painful at all. They're made to not break the skin.
      However the kind shown in the picture is more like a salute and it'll tear through cardboard so I imagine the pain would be quite bad. :)

      +limosine Oh and this one cost RM 200. That works out to USD 50.

      @LOUIS YAP EN YU Moe yes it's generally cheap because it's only allowed at suburbs and countrysides nowadays, and inflations at those areas are low, and my dad usually buy 10 of them to light one on each morning of the new years days
