@Nicolette Isabella CONGRATULATIONS! What I did to pass time was watch A TON of videos to learn more about my dog breed and what they need! I also started looking at things I could buy and adding them to my cart!
@Nicolette Isabella as for tips honestly you can’t be fully prepared for a dog because all dogs have different personality types, the best thing to do in my opinion is to buy all the needs and then get a few toys to see what your dog likes, after finding out you can buy more of those toys! In my experience, my dog will eat any treats but I think it would be best to get the small bags of treats to see which your dog likes the most. Also when you first get your dog make sure to let them explore a bit (supervised of course) that way they feel more comfortable in a new environment!

Yes, so very important to use a harness instead of a collar on puppies to keep from accidentally hurting their neck or throats.
As for Baking Soda I had got that for my previous dog, too, and then read at Banfield Vet Hospital website on their page "Do I Need to Clean My Dog's Teeth?" not to use Baking Soda. Seems like that is one of those things some say is okay others say isn't for dogs. I would just google ingredients on anything before deciding to use for my dog or not as well as search to make sure there are no chemicals in dog toys, beds, etc.
That was also good you pointed out about the heat and hot payment when it comes to your fur babies. One of my dogs after boarding had burnt paws when I went to pick them up. Needless to say I didn't board her there anymore after that.
You mentioned trying other dog shampoos. I love 4-Legger dog shampoos 🐶💖

I do a neighborhood dog walking and training buisness and for dogs that pull short leashes are perfect for training in general I would recommend long leashes are ideal so they know you still have control over them and you want a collar for your dog you had a great choice for a harness that one is perfect for a harness but you wanna get a collar because they wont be used to a collar and it could end very dangerously. and for training treats you should 100% try the puppy training soft bites in an orange bag they worked so well and I know you didnt say anything about pills but if your dogs dont take the pills rap them in cheese (cheese is good for dogs) or a pull pocket by greenies and denta sticks are a must have otherwise you chose everything good because I have the same leash for my service dog!! So I do not like that it is a hard case, archie is afraid of it because if I bend down to get the poop or touch him, he doesn't want to be accidentally hit by it, and I don't blame him because its a hard bulky case. Also the poop bags I got from them were not high quality, they would rip when you were trying to use them so one time I had poop on my hands hahaha. Anyway, I prefer the soft poop bag holders

Aww thank you!!! Until they are potty trained I let Alfred out every 2 hours, as he gets older he will be able to hold it longer but a adult dog could be left for 6 hours but I wouldn't do much longer without being let outside

Hello Abby, I watch all your video as I am waiting for my puppy he is a Cavapoo F1 and the breeder says that he is wavy coat. can I ask u what is the coat of your Alfred? and is he F1? Thank you dear for all the information you provide to us.
Yes alfred is an F1 and his coat was "wavy" as well, their coats change as they get older. Archie started out with wavy hair and now its very curly where Alfreds is just wavy and puffy. Hopefully that helps :)

They won’t be into anybody more than you. I’ve always had dogs that lived together and they honestly ALWAYS want the attention of humans. They don’t care as much about the dogs they live with haha, but they do appreciate the extra play partner :)
But yeah, trust me. They’ll both always want to be with you

Nope, cavapoo is a caviler King Charles & poodle, cackapoo is a cocker spaniel & poodle

They are considered just standard Cavapoos or cavoodles.. Archie is about 15-17lbs and Alfred will probably be a little bigger

I get this comment a lot.. he does nibble a little & we have been working on that with training, Archie doesn't bite because of the training we did as a puppy
How often do you brush their teeth?
The vet recommended every day or every other, brushing their teeth is something I do slack on so I need to get better
