DJ is a top 15, not top 5 WR, so a deal closer to StBrown in Detroit seems about right.

A wr like Keenan needs to get fed and fed often I think to stay happy. If that is the case I see him getting slowly more and more frustrated as time passes. There sure does seem to be other mouths to feed, and I do not see Caleb starving Rome and DJ. one and done for Keenan in chicago. which I think I'm perfectly ok with.
That’s where coaching comes in to manage these personalities… I believe Flus can handle that. All good points.

@@SportsTalkBears1 Spot on there with the coaching impact I would think. Don't get me wrong I think Allen is freaking fantastic and a professional, obviously willing to bet on himself, so there is going to be effort. I do feel he will follow the pay check though and if i did not believe in the other wr talent in the room I would say put up the money. Fun to actually have some belief in the offense showing up. That is crazy talk in chicago ha ha.

Why? Hes at the top of the NFL in seperation which means hes almost always open. He doesnt drop the ball. Ever!!! Williams would not be wise to not go to Keenan often
Trading a 4 for a wide reciever that your only going to have for 1 year is just dumb. I could see if they were a contender. Then sure. Trade the 4 for Allen. But your basically giving a 4th round away for free if you only have Allen for 1 yeat

Speaking of an Insurance Policy, what's your take on Austin Reed? Do you feel that he's likely to make the roster?
I actually like Reed better than Bagent on pure arm talent. Would like to see how camp goes but yeah - I think he should be the number 3.
@@SportsTalkBears1 I agree, however, with all the focus on Caleb, I haven't heard anything about Austin's OTA and Minicamp workouts. I wonder if they're giving him any reps.

I sat down & watched a Madden 2024 game on CZcams & the Bears roster is beating almost every team they play. Cowboys,, Packers, Lions, 49ers, PFF, ESPN everyone expects us to dominate at defense. Our receivers are also dominate. The world expects us to win but some of our fans right here in Chicago.....They are our biggest doubters!!!!
