Hey Nayao, I can definitely relate to your problem. Even til now I feel paranoid when doing public speaking or exposing myself out there. But you have more courage than me as you are now doing this in front of camera !! So I would like to tell you a story maybe that would help to reduce self-doubt.
There was once I told my friend I feel insecure when doing public speaking , and he said “just remember this, you ain’t shit and nobody cares about what you think or behave or say on the stage 😂” I know it sounds harsh but it helped when I do public speaking the next time. So I put his words to test the other day, where I speak on stage while looking at the crowd , realising that no many really paid attention to what I’m delivering, most people are yawning or on their phone 😅, now that’s not too say nobody listened , some did pay attention , but my point is, what you perceive or fear in your brain is not the true reality, any doubts or fear you have are your own voice, you have to test it out to know the truth. Likewise , since you are ISFJ while I’m INFP, we share similar traits, but I gotta say that for us, we are always on the process of learning and developing, we just tend to frame ourselves into “perfectionism” where the reality is never perfect, so we have to accept the imperfects, I know it’s hard for us but it’s part of the learning process my friend.

I feel you. Speaking a second language that is not your native language can be difficult. But you show courage and that CZcams is a good opportunity to develop yourself further. I'm German and I want to practice speaking Japanese, so I've started a CZcams channel as well. But I also want to talk about mental health and energy, which isn't easy for me to do in Japanese. That's why I'm now talking about it using scripts that I prepare beforehand. Maybe you're already more spiritually developed, which is why the big cities, for example, with their dense and heavier energy (consciously) weigh on you more than they do on other people.

It's healthy to be self-aware, mindful and hold yourself accountable wherever you feel you fall short as a person. However, it's also possible that you're judging yourself too harshly with your criticisms, and your scrutinizations aren't nearly as warranted as you so perceive. Doing too much introspection can lead to crippling you from any progress. It's just something to think about. Trust and believe, the more you do it the easier it will get and you will be making mistakes speaking English till the day you die which is OK. Everyone does it, even native English speakers.

Day 13: My life was getting boring so I tried playing table tennis with my other friend outside without a table, because we still haven't gotten a table yet. We turned the table tennis game into a badminton game lol. It was so fun yet so hard.

I've found that caring more about the people I'm with, and how I can bless/help them in the moment, helps me forget about myself (at least the awkwardness!) and focus on being of service to them. When your attention is on how you can make the other person feel better, be better, or do something better, you'd feel great about yourself, regardless of your imperfect actions or words! 😊

Good Morning from New York ,
直哉さん頭がいい! I think you’re doing a great job figuring it out so far, it seems like you’re on the right path. I don’t have any other advice yet except for to keep going 🤙🏼💪🏼 It’s amazing how similar we are.. I believe I am HSP as well and I’ve been meeting other people like us the more I talk about it so maybe it’s a common thing.. 👍🏼 we will find our way仲間

I think you look and sound great! :) I’m an HSP too and an INFP and I struggle with being self conscious and some of the things you’ve talked about too, what’s helped me is realizing that everyone is in their own world and mostly focusing on themselves and not focusing on you and what you think are your mistakes! Also, I used to think everyone was thinking negatively about me but I’ve truly seen that most people are the opposite of that and usually point out and notice good things about you! Always expect the best outcomes from people and they will usually meet you on that level. There are a lot of good books on Empaths that I think you might connect with too!

Woahhh, now this is a topic I struggle with myself. Although, for learning new languages I've realised that mere exposure does help to reduce self consciousness along with a lot of patience with myself. Unfortunately, I've given up on many other learnings (academics and career opportunities) only because I couldn't do the latter as my insecurities about not knowing enough got the best of me. But hey, in the hindsight, we're all trying, so we're doing something right.
Credit yourself for coming this far sir, you're doing well✨

I believe, having much people to talk to could reduce our self-consciousness. That is why engaging a friendship is a must, with a friend you are comfortable with, you could ask for their opinions about you; just like, what you needed to change or improve.
In this case of you being self-conscious of yourself or the way you talk in English in front of the camera, I suggest that you continue to do this daily videos. Because I believe that you'll find it more comfortable later if you continue to do so.
I wanted to add that, people don't really think of that so much of others, they are mostly thinking about themselves, and maybe they were watching your videos because they wanted to see and think what are the things they could do if they were in a situation like you or others in the comments section.
Just continue and tell your thoughts. 😊

its a nice habit though! when you are conscious of yourself! its very important to love yourself, priorities your health first, do not ever forget to take enough rest after working hard. we all should appreciate our hard workings! Self consciousness is such a great quality over all i think. i hope you will feel better in the next time while doing videos and you will not feel insecure!!
