I want to learn how to solve the fto so badly but my lanlan turns so badly that I always get super frustrated and give up. I'll wait for the dayan one because GuHong Pro M is my main 3x3, can't wait.

The dayan might take a lot longer to come out, it still hasn't passed the prototype stage last I checked. The diansheng is very soon. I would recommend getting that first for sure, but yeah we ftoers think when the dayan does eventually come out, it will probably be better than the diansheng

Obviously a big improvement, but I was hoping they would take the feedback from the testers before having the main puzzle and packaging pretty much done.

yes, that would be huge. a big problem that even I'm suffering from is the explosions that can happen when you're turning a bit too aggressively.

Do you think this would be better or worse than the Dayan fto thats going to come out?

My gut is telling me the dayan will probably be better, but it's hard to tell by how much. We probably won't receive them before everyone else as testers, so I probably won't be able to give any feedback on it

@The_CubingManiac this is something we have truly no idea about. They could go with the mf8 scheme which is indeed completely different, or go with the diansheng. I personally hope they stick with the diansheng scheme, that would be the best for the community
