I’m 58 and love all the prog bands: Rush, Genesis, Kansas, Yes, Saga, 70s Styx..this new music is spectacular and the lyrics are really stellar. Definitely carrying on a proud legacy!

Coming from a huge Rush fan, these guys have undeniable talent as well as sounding like Rush when they want to. I’ve been blown away by these guys as of late, their influences are shown, but so is their originality. Beyond grateful to have this type of music in my life and in my life time.

Kevin not only plays exactly like my favorite guitar player Alex Lifeson but his guitar tone is straight off of Hemispheres. Crown Lands, this world needs inspiring lyrics like this. And Cody I catch your little Neil Peart moments in this song. It’s cleverly done and makes him smile for sure. Thank you both for your gift to us. God bless you❤

Well, I may have stumbled onto my new favorite band!!!!!!! The end of Rush has left a giant sonic hole in rock culture and music. Nature abhors a vacuum and someone will come and fill that niche. The beauty of this situation is that if you are going to attempt this you better bring the best musicians in the world together and take Neal's perfectionism to the next level. This can only be a win for us listeners and a lovely tip of the hat to the integrity of Rush. Bravo to Crown Lands. You have achieved something special here.

As a lifelong Rush fan these two (two!) take it to another level in terms of pure musicianship? They are now on my playlist together with another very talented Canadian band - Mystery. Never heard of either of them before and so its brilliant to discover some new prog at 72 yo! And what is it about Canada that produces such good rock bands and artists? 😎

Or it may be that this song, at least, sounds like a good Rush tune, whereas GVF generally sound like mediocre Zeppelin.

What an amazing band ! And only 2 guys performing these epic tunes so brilliantly ? So great to see prog rock still alive and well, they learned from the best. I only recently heard Fearless pt 2 and boom I was hooked. Superior musicianship, epic songs, what more can you ask for ? Missed these guys on their recent concert in Ottawa as I was totally unaware but next time, I will attend and be blown away lol 😊

Have been a big Rush fan for decades, and like many was saddened by their retirement and wrenched when Neil passed away. I heard this song on my local radio station yesterday while driving with my wife, and we were having a conversation so I could only hear bits and pieces of the song. That was enough however to think that there were a lot of “Rush”- like elements to the song, without being just copycat stuff. Now that I’ve watched this video and heard the whole song, it’s clearly a great song and performance in its own right, and indeed a respectful yet mind blowing nod to Rush. Gonna download some Crown Lands music now...
