It's not a timeless design... think of how long you would realistically be able to stock it. By the time it will take to perfect it, it will be out of style again. I appreciate your hard work, but it's not my style and will be a hard pass for me.
I absolutely LOVE how you try to meet everyone’s needs but personally I’m not much of a bubble skirt person and neither are most of the people I know. Whatever you chose I’ll still appreciate everything you do!
I have too much of a booty. This would give off major diaper for me. I vote kill it, but I do see a small market of people that would love it 🤷♀️ Just seems like a quick fad, personally.
I beg to differ...I think it would look better on bigger booties. When she turned around and I saw how it looked flat on her small bootie my immediate thought was that it needed someone with more bootie.
Completely agree with everything. It's one of those things that's cute on small bodies but (I think) wouldn't translate to any larger bodies. Love the idea of the style, but yeah, a quick fad is exactly what I think it'll be
yeah. it's trendy and the thing about trendy item too is that not all are functional and weirdly the hype glamorizes it's appeal when in reality it's not that aesthetically pleasing to everyone. market value will DROP once the hype is gone fo sho.
I honestly never liked bubble skirts, but I like your version of it. I agree with the shorter length, and it does look pretty fun. I vote keep the bubble skirt 🫶🫶🫶
Maybe have it as a limited item? I don't personally love it but I don't have the body type/structure to pull it off, but I'm sure someone would love it, although I agree they probably won't be "in style" much longer
Agreed! Hate a bubble skirt but I have a flat bum and wide hips but small waist so it would / should flatter my body type. I have a feeling it will go out fashion soon too so for a limited time due to its limited audience.
To be totally honest, I don't like the idea of an activewear bubble skort, I'm sorry! I think you made it look cuter for sure, but what's really appealing about the twirl and pirhouette skorts are how flowy they are and work so well as skorts, but I think bubble skirts demand more structure to give the bubble look and I'm already really disliking how it sounds when it moves. Just how I feel tho, it's completely up to you, you're doing amazing!
I think the bubble skirt looks great! It kinda reminds me of Moka's (ILLIT) Magnetic bubble dress. I would really love it if you made bubble dresses/skirts! Love your videoes and designs ❤
As many people have mentioned, the timing of the design can be a problem due to changing fashion trends which creates sustainability issues, both economical and environmental. On the other hand, there does seem to be a fair number of people that love the concept. I'd say keep working on it, but shelve the design and see if there's a better time to release it. Alternatively, after design improvements, you could also release it as a limited run to see how that goes. If it goes well, then consider it as a future seasonal release, if not, then when you're out of stock, you're out of stock.
i hate bubble skirts but i think your design has potential, although i think it might be better to kill it just because by the time the design is perfected they might not be in style anymore
Personally, I only like bubble skits when they are knee length or below because otherwise they just look kinda weird. I think length adds a bit of subtlety as the hem is less focused on. I love ALL your other designs though, Cassie. Thank you for all your content; it really helps me
i actually kind of like itttt it looks cute the way you pinned it up. i would say keep it just 1. kill the drawstring or make it the same color as the skirt 2. bulky long waistbands don’t look good with skirts so i’d say make it lower waisted 3. make it as a limited item because it’s not for everyone and we don’t want you to waist money having a bunch made
It's definitely not my favorite so i would say not worth to keep! I love how much thought and consideration you put into your designs!! As a consumer I feel so special that you ask for our feedback 💖💖
i dunno about the bubble skirt but i loooove the color😩 pale yellow with the black tie is everything. i’d love to see that color combo on something else you come up with !
Ehhh, I have mixed opinions lol, it being shorter definitely helped a lot and that color yellow I’m loving, although the black string is too harsh of a color to go with that light of a yellow, but I never really loved bubble skirts in the first place 😅 but this is definitely cuter than other bubble skirts
Honestly I like the black string! Reminds me of lemonade, kinda! But yes, the yellow color is amazing I love it so much. Another alternative to the black could be an olive green, maybe. Might match a little better? Who knows, certainly not me. XD
I feel like if u were to keep it, dont play into the activewear part of your brand, and make it more of a casual wear- but honestly it seems too risky for most people.. Edit: i love when people agree with me 😭
That last terracota bubble skirt that has pleats I think would be the way to go. The shorter length definitely makes it look more bouncy rather than heavy.
I thought I liked it, but when you hemed it, I realised the length was what I actually liked. I really like the contrast of the yellow and black sting though.💛🖤 I would also like to see more "longer" skirts... maybe with a high low 🤔 😊
I like this suggestion. I’d also lose the tie or make it inside, visually the black tie isn’t helping. Giant pockets would be the selling point for this piece, if you turned it into storage or tutu. 🎉
maybe you could make it more flower-like? like maybe you could add some rouches to make it more like petals or like buttercups? that might make it a little heavy, though. or you could make it sheer. maybe a mesh bubble skirt with optional rouches would be cuter??? like how they have those ribbon drawstings to tighten up the rouche or loosen it. it might be too much work, but i feel like that would be pretty cute
Nah... but I can't afford your products anyway, so you shouldn't worry about me. Not saying your products are expensive. I'm just currently stuck thrifting, so I'll still watch your videos in support.😅
Omg, as a hijabi it would be soooo great if you could make a burkini line for women who want a little more modesty or for the Muslim hijabis? Btw love how you comment and take action on your customers concerns 💗💗💗
I agree with some longer lengths. I don’t always appreciate my booty or lady bits showing. I’ve got hips, thighs, and a butt which I prefer to keep covered…especially chasing after my kids. 🤷🏼♀️😂
KEEP IT!!! PLEASE!!! It's cute!! I LOVE the way this skirt sits so much more than the examples you were showing at the beginning of the vid. I mean the ruffles, the twirlability, the potential!Rework it so you're happy with it but DEFINITELY keep it😁❤❤
i have long legs, a small butt and a small waist, so i rly think it would look nice on me! i especially love the waistband with the bow. idk how it would look if you made it a bit longer tho, cuz im 5'9 and my legs are pretty long 😭. i understand that people might not like it because it's not a "timeless design", but, as i say, if you like it, wear it!! and, who knows, maybe the trend sticks around longer than we expexted? i say keep it :))
I think it’s actually worth working on for a spring collection!! :D The bubble skirt I feel can look really cute if yu give it a petal flower looking cut. But it is quite tricky ngl
Wow! There are so many mixed opinions 😮😅 I think it may be interesting to try it out with a thinner fabric, like a translucent mesh over some shorts. I personally don't like how poofy it is for athletic wear, though it may be suitable for athleisure 🤔🤷🏾♀️
I really like this idea because I love the shape of the skirt, but a mesh, small pattern lace, or other light weight material might be so cool in this shape!
I LOVE IT!! I don’t own any of your pieces but i’m always telling people about how good they look and how carefully thought out each piece is. I don’t like the black lace though, maybe same colored, thicker and shorter lace or no lace at all. I love the skirt though! And yes you’re right about the length, much better shorter, keep going!!
I've had a few I loved, but they were midi and fall trended so heavier was fine. I like the length on yours, but I feels some layering could achieve it with better effect
i know most people are leaning towards “kill”, but i actually like the skirt. i really like it, and i think with a bit of tweaking it can be really good!
I would 100% buy this at the shorter length!! So cute. It’s giving kilt at the long length tho lol but I’m sure it wouldn’t have that effect on someone taller! :)
Gathered skirts are always cute, bubble skirts never quite hit right. Maybe make a really full gathered skirt if you like the general twirl etc but I think the bubble will not last
I like how yours includes some waist structure, though I would say maybe give it some time! I definitely think its much more cute short like you said, maybe if you did something to make the inside of the bubble part not as deflated, I think it will give it more ✨Bubbleness✨
Less ruffles more poof and make it a bit stronger and sturdier maybe lose the drawstring and make the waist band thinner and make it a bit shorter and make it low rise❤❤
Save your time and production money for the iconic pieces that will still be here in 5 years ❤ This trend doesnt look good on most people & it probably wont be around for long I've been watching you since the early youtube workout days & it's been so incredible to watch your business grow. You're an inspiration!
Nah, I prefer sticking to timeless designs ❤ there is so much fast fashion already - you stick out by providing quality and actually well thought out designs ❤
Im a huge fan of the bubble skirt! I have thicker thighs and smaller waist, and i find it really flattering It draws attention away from my thighs themselves and makes my waist look even smaller. I do agree with you that the sample is too bottom heavy, and your idea to raise or partly raise the hemline would be a massive improvement. I also think the colour doesn't do it any favours and wouldn't suit most skin tones. I would 100% wear that in black, pale blue or grey ❤
I think you should keep it. Its really cute and more original than other bubble skirts in the market. I would def buy one i you decide to work on it and sell it. I cant wait! 💛
I don't like bubble skirts but I really liked this one. As other commenters said, think about how long this trend is going to be in, a limited edition sounds well. I liked it with both lengths btw. And yes, please match the string with the color of the skirt :')
I personally don't like bubble/ balloon skirts

exacly what I thought, by the time of realease it will be old news
it's really the opposite of timeless and it's somethingnonly very young women and girls can pull off
really good advice. it's way too costly for a small business to chase trends. Trends are something for big brands

I would say kill it. I'm not sure how lasting the bubble skirt trend is. It might not be worth the long time investment
I mean was only around for a short time in the early 2000s so I wouldn't give it very long.
But her version looks way too cute and timeless. i wouldnt buy that cute lemon skirt because its trendy but because i truly liked the spirit of it

I think it’s cute!
To be totally honest, I don't like the idea of an activewear bubble skort, I'm sorry! REALL
i like it shorter!! but i personally don’t love the different coloured drawstring, it would be cuter in the same colour imo :))
Agreed!
yeah, or at least it's the darker of the base color, so for the example if the skort color is lilac i wish the drawstring color is dark purple or plum
this is a sample. the final version would probably be matching.
As many people have mentioned, the timing of the design can be a problem due to changing fashion trends which creates sustainability issues, both economical and environmental. Keep it. I love it, i would wear it. Love it both lengths you showed. It gives historical vibes, and i love historical clothing vibes.
we’re in our Regency Era
Your rendition is much cuter than most that I've seen. Keep it!
Agreed with the shorter length, but the skirt part with a different fabric. Imagine sheerer fabric for the skirt part.

It's super cute how you hemmed it, I think. I had a thought of perhaps a high-low hem from front to back?
I love it, it reminds me of flower petals. Definitely looks better shorter too :)
Now I’m imagining it with little drawstrings along the hem, so you can form the hemline into more distinct petals.
