Thanks for the video, Josh. I grew up on a farm. We grew and sold corn, strawberries, tomatoes, peaches, and many other fruits and vegetables. That’s how I spent all my summers, and it was a lot of work. Usually, I do virtual farming/gardening now. It’s much easier. I’ll have to check out your sponsor. I can probably find something relatively easy and low key.

Thanks for sharing Cozy Caravan! Regarding the animations, yes, it's a stylistic choice to go for the stop-motion look. All other movement, like the camera, the caravan, and even the actual movement of the characters themselves around the world is smooth like you'd normally expect, it's purely the animation keyframes that are stepped. We understand it won't be for everyone, but that's okay. We're really pleased with how it's turned out, we're that so many people have recognised it for what it is.

Whoa, a caravan phase in farming/cozy gaming? Thats interesting, sounds like a fun theme to explore.
Luma Island looks like it'll be fun in co-op but not sure how I would enjoy the singleplayer version, that spider chasing me would scare me haha. Out of these I'm looking forward to Cozy Carvan and Collector's Grove!
The faceless characters in Vampire Rancher are an interesting choice. While I would prefer it if they had faces and "character" I think that sucking blood from faceless npcs makes it a little less brutal and a better fit for a wider audience

I hadn't heard of any of these except for Outbound! I'm most interested in Luma Island, Cozy Caravan and Bloomtown, though the genetics aspect of Gardener sounds very cool!

Wow this list was amazing! Usually I'm only interested in one or two games but I wish listed almost all of them this time! Hopefully we don't have to wait too long for release because I'm really excited 🥰
What a lot of camper vans!! 😅😅Artisan's story and Collector's Cove look super cute. It's a shame that so few upcoming games have release dates at the moment: I guess we'll just have to wait and see for them!

Lightyear Frontier is on Gamepass. Cozy farm-sim with alien crops and land-care.
A game like Outbound is definitely up my alley. I love the road-tripping aspect, camping out in a VW Bus lookalike, but also the idea that you can set up and then build onto your van is just a cool idea that I wish more games offered.
Collector's Cove makes me think of Noah's Arc. Which seems like an interesting premise.

um... did anyone notice some of the character designs in artisan story are straight up lifted from other games? the old man with the red hat and green feather shown at 5:12 is literally keehar from granblue fantasy but recolored. the art shown here is one-to-one with keehar's character sprite. and at 5:15, the brown haired guy with the red shoulder cloak looks extremely similar to kaveh from genshin impact just with some design elements changed to look less obvious. i wouldn't be surprised if most of these designs are stolen from other series. i wouldn't trust this game if they're stealing character designs and tracing art hoping they won't get caught.
edit: oh my god, again, at 5:18, the buff person wearing green on the bottom right, that pose is traced from ladiva's SR character sprite from granblue fantasy as well. that's TWO CHARACTERS from the same game. i'm blown away by how brazenly they're doing this
Wow great eye. I thought the character art looked weird the style is really inconsistent. I think the majority of them if not all are traced from different sources
@@Te3time i play granblue fantasy religiously and have been with the game since 2017 so i'm very VERY familiar with the character designs and associated character sprites haha. the race with the animal ears in artisan story is very obviously based off of the erune race from granblue. yes granblue didn't invent the 'race with animal ears' concept but with how the artist clearly knows granblue if they're ripping designs and tracing art from it combined with certain details like the ear shape of certain characters and the traditional japanese-esque clothing (which is what erune royalty wear in granblue) it's very clear to see what they're doing
there's nothing wrong with taking inspiration and i wouldn't see this as a problem at all if they hadn't already stolen one of the characters designs and traced the art of one of the other characters (sorry for the long reply lol)

Hello Josh, there is a new game coming out next month which you might want to consider. It is called Little Known Galaxy. I played the demo and loved it so much!
A cosy farming game in 2.5d would be the next big thing I think. Imagine Harvest Moon or Stardew Valley in a 2d/3d environment, it would be amazing. I think Artisan Valley and Cornucopia is trying for that concept. If Square Enix managed to work on a 2.5d farming sim, it would be big (Harvestella and Star Ocean Second Story R combined with the charm of Harvest Moon or Stardew Valley with HD Sprite art).
I wonder how it will work in Outbound : what will be the incentive to move to new places, is there a goal to reach? Or maybe a tech tree requiring new resources from different biomes?
Node farm looks like other graphically minimalists management games like Masterplan Tycoon or Blueprint Tycoon.
Bloomtown sure does look very good... + it seems to mix a lot of activities including combat so i'ts very interesting.

Thanks for the list! I'm most looking forward to outbound and vampire rancher. And I agree, I would love some consequences for vampire rancher. It could even make some interesting stories as you befriend your neighbors.

Artisan story look really good. Although i feel a bit weird with it's 2.5D style bcs the pixel animal look too much like a thin cardboard. I guess its a camera angle issue

I only play farming games but none of these really excited me. They are all unique but yeah not for me
