You could definitely get a Limited XT in past years. Not sure why Car & Driver listed that as a new feature! My apologies for passing it along 😅
I'm glad it's not changed. If it's good it's good and it makes it easier to repair when models don't change much.
Offroading, The Wilderness Trim, with a CVT? They go together like wearing flip flops while running the boston marathon.
I'm keeping my 2024 Owilderness I guess
Should I get the turbo, though?!?! Kidding! Def get the turbo! Our old Outback is like driving a tractor - but, I still love it. Great videos!
Thank you!
Nice 🎉🎉❤😊
So far, the 2025 upgrade is not what I expected. I have a 2023 outback wilderness and I like it, but the gas mileage is not good because of the ratio in the rear end. The one difference that I do like is that they have given the the wilderness the Harmon Kardon audio system. Another feature that I wish that they would add to the wilderness is memory seats. It’s really a pain in the butt changing from one driver to the next. Listen up Subaru.
For a vehicle that is off road oriented the gas mileage is actually VERY good. You could be getting 15-19 MPG with another off road vehicle.
waiting for the hybrid
You could always get the turbo on the Limited - i.e. Limited XT
Also the JDM Outback has had digital gauge cluster for years and the new WRX tS has one for the North American market finally. Hopefully the next US Outback will finally get it.
That’s what I thought as well. I thought it may have been a copy/paste from Car & Driver but it doesn’t look like it was… guess they just got it wrong. My apologies for passing that along
I thought you could get the turbo on the limited before. It was called the limited XT.

These things happen.
at least you get the 2.4 turbo option (UK/EU only get 2.5 NA), but given the high cost of Wilderness trim, non- folding mirrors is poor decision, my Touring has self folding as std. Gloss black interior or exterior use needs to stop. All 3 cameras need quality improved, especially at night. Agree binnacle display needs to change to digital.
I'm confused with this video. I was told at the dealership that the Outback for 2025 can't be ordered yet.
That’s weird…We have several of them
I spoke with Subaru and not all states can you order them. At least they called today. East of NYC
They stopped the pano sunroof after people kept dropping the swinging roof rack rails on the glass.
Interesting
@@BachmanAutoGroupLouisville yeah. My 06 outback had the pano.
My 2017 Impreza has better backup camera quality than this 😂
Same ol garbage
