i like that they made Mitsunari more human in this game. made me sympathise with him, specially him crying over Hideyoshi.

i like the way the cutscenes are in this the feelings that you get when u play my favorite scene is yukimura
The one thing that i loved what Koei did with the story is us feeling sympathetic towards mitsunari. Dude just really was loyal to his lord til the end.
I like the better graphics, controls, character designs, gameplay, everything but the one thing I hate is how all the arcs end the same. The Takeda always die at Nagashino, Ieyasu always wins at Sekigahara, Hideyoshi always beats Mitsuhide. I miss SW 1 and 2 where you could go alternate history and have people survive
I've never played 1 and 2, but considering the games are trying to be historically accurate, it's mostly expected that everything happens like it did for real in feudal Japan. However, in the Empires installment, you can pretty much create your very own story, so that's a plus. No one dies in Empires :D
@@ZhariaTheFury the problem is that they removed something good. SW1 and SW2 even had cutscenes for alternate history missions where characters who died before important battles actually show up and be the deciding factor. Also, each character had its own story mode
What he meant is probably something like in Dynasty Warriors 8: Hypothetical route, a turning point of 'What if' situation.

ストーリーも凝ってて、こんなにいいキャラいっぱい増えたのに少し勿体ない、関東の章とか天下統一の章とかそんな感じじゃなくて、2みたいに1人1人ストーリーがあって欲しかった、号泣不可避の神ゲー確定だったと思う
あと欲を言うと武将を倒した時のムービーも欲しいかな。。あれがある事によって尚更感情移入できるから。

That duel cutscene between the sanada brothers felt so intense, but the fact that both were exactly the same aside from the victor of the duel was pretty upsetting. I mean even the voice lines were exact same.

Well...in the history, Yukimura was with someone and they had 2 children (I think it was two). However, they never mentioned her in the game.
He married the daughter of a loyal retainer of the Toyotomi. I believe her name was Akihime. From what others have told me, has has 14 children/sons I think XD

In reality, Nobuyuki was married to Ina To strengthen the bond of Sanada-Honda clan. Yukimura had 11 kids with Akihime and his 5 concubines.
I love how their are people legitimately upset that the same events happen in each installment. Like do you guys know that this is romanticized history? Most of the events actually went down,maybe not the cutscenes but in general. Koei has been pumping out games for 20-30 years now. Theres no reason why anyone who has played a previous installment (either Dynasty or Samurai) doesn't understand this is real history. Shit Samurai is really big on giving actually years and sometimes dates i believe.

Unless they have the Kessen 3 backstory, I doubt Mitsuhide would do that, as in all of the SW games, not once have Mitsuhide and Noh had romantic feelings for each other.

I've played through all the stages of each storyline, but I don't remember seeing the scene where Toyohisa dies (starts around 58:42 or so). Anyone care to tell?
Play Battle of Sekigahara again (Western Army) and play the two Shimazus and you will get that cutscene.

It’s pretty sad that Lady Noh, who is one of the most underrated and underutilized characters in the series, seems to have more personality than all the females in Dynasty Warriors.
I am trying to unlock the 4 last events of Legend of Tohoku, because i completed all missions with all characters, and i beat all challenges, but the Cleared! word is still silver, so i have to unlock the events... in the Vault there are 4 events with ??? whose i didn´t unlock yet and i don´t know how to unlock them, not even with a trophy guide. Can someone help me with this, please?
Your best bet is to go back and play all the characters you haven't played in the legend of Tohoku. If you are still missing events, then you may can find which ones are you missing online or just go to the vault event and play the scenes that are between the ??? so that you can get an idea where the missing event is.

I sorely miss this Story Mode after playing SW4-II, it doesn't include all the battles completely and some stories are altered, resulting in some plotholes... :

SW4-2 is more of a B-side of a tape; a sort of a fun little alternate take. i'm actually more surprised that they released it as a standalone spinoff than as a XL expansion.

The reason why many of Japanese games like this cannot come to US because gamers in US prefer to have more intense competitions multiplayer which is gear toward shooting games, NFl, NBA, FIFA games. Also the way how many game rating programs are just gear toward games that are popular among games

森可成は強いけど影薄いし早く死んでるから微妙。
後藤又兵衛と黒田長政は有名だし重要キャラでもあるから出すべき。

xDryas Play 2nd Ueda Castle battle. When you encounter Ina, let Yukimura fight her and use ONLY him to defeat her. This cutscene will appear. Hope this helps!

so just to clarify. does ino really marry nobuyuki? cause on the wii version it showed that ino and yukimura had a thing going to. if someone can clear it up for me it would be great. and if you are wondering no i havent played the SW series at all other then part one, which is really old. only reason i know about it, was when i went searching on the net about it and on you tube.

It doesn't really help that the English script of the Wii game didn't translate it properly. The Japanese script called them brother and sister all the time. Nobyuki and Ina are married in almost all the games.

actually from what i have seen there are 2 endings for the sanada storyline (which actually ended up the same....so whats the point of making 2 different scenes) but so whats the difference? i mean how would u get the ending? other youtube video shows that final scene only have nobuyuki with ina on sanada storyline O.O sorry noob question :C
It's okay. It's mostly the same thing, but the only difference is that the brothers have their moments/versions of their endings, when they talk to themselves.
ya what i want to ask is how to get the yukimura's one. Because when i search from youtube, always shows the nobuyuki with ina version (which actually nicer imo)
