7 worlds sounds really small, but when you look at the maps each world is huge!! I'm really excited for that.

Its 2less its 8worlds +1 secret world
To be fair, Super Mario World was also 7 main worlds long, not counting Star Road and Special Zone

3:35 I would say these Wonder Seeds function less like traditional Star Coins and more like the green stars found in 3D Land and 3D World, especially because locking levels behind a certain amount of them is part of their whole purpose in these games

The directs show certain things but still certain things happen on screen that the narrator doesnt mention so you may miss it. no one is forcing you to watch. and its not meant to be a time saver or quick summary. Its to show EVERYTHING that happened.

the new voice actor is good because he's doing a good homage to Charles, Nintendo knew that if the voice was too different people would riot

It is still being voiced by Charles. In the past, Nintendo had him voice over a thousand lines, a whole library of Mario voices (and other characters Charles voiced) They are using them on this and the future Mario games, so Charles is not going away for a long time.

I kinda feel like SMW is Nintendo going back to how it was for the 1st NSMB, cus I remember you could store powerups and if you wanted to 100% that game you needed the star coins to unlock extra lvls. Idky they got rid of that stuff for the wii/wii u versions but at least they're going back.

Idk how the Coin Magnet badge works yet, but maybe it'll help in coinless runs if you have to pull coins out of a tight area!
It gravitates coins towards the player, which is the bane of coinless runs.
I feel like this game can have a number of game challenges and feel free to take them
No Flower coins collected
Bo Flower seeds collected
(or least collected if none is not possible)
Collect no badges
do all levels on just ONE badge such as invisible only or dash only
clear all stages with out multi player assistance and standies
speed run no dash badge
grapple badge only don't touch ground
use one power up take no hits
don't kill any thing
No Wonder effects
etc
I would need a full list of badges and power ups
Also I bet the castle is a secret 8th level and then there will be an even more secret 9th level and possibly even more then 9.
If I do decide to buy the game, the Pacifist challenge (Don’t kill anything) will be my default. Even in the 15-minute-long Nintendo Direct, more than 10 enemies are murdered!

The fourth world is the Sunbaked Desert, the fifth one is the Fungi Mines, and the sixth one is the Deep Magma Bog.
