    ---- About the Pattern ----
The Mermaid Dragon pattern features a gorgeous Wyvern with a mermaid tail fin and matching ears. This mythical water creature lives in the deep sea but will fly above the waters when it finds a human that it wants to hug. The Mermaid Dragon may be long and thin but is quite cuddly with its large, flappy wings, and is rumored to be a great yarn guardian as well if you want to set him atop a large skein for protection. This fantasy amigurumi doll is easily customizable with different yarn colors. Impress your customers by crocheting this dragon to sell at a craft fair, or as gifts for your friends and family. Everyone will surely enjoy this unisex/gender neutral stuffed plushie as either a play toy or a collectible art doll for display. The tail fin and wings pattern are free on the Sweet Softies blog, and the full pattern instructions for crocheting this dragon from start to finish is in the PDF pattern file. The PDF also includes photo references and links to video tutorials.

Thanks so much for liking my design! Yay for starting out on a project - a top sounds awesome!
If you're new to crochet (and to amigurumi), I recommend trying out some quick and simple patterns first to get the hang of the basic amigurumi stitches! :) That'll help a lot before you start on a larger project, like this mermaid dragon.
You can check out my playlist of my free patterns if that helps! czcams.com/play/PL0Q6dgw7wELKaodbeFTl1ZJCegU-Wm3AT.html
      All the best!

Thanks so much! I'm sorry I don't have the head instructions on video. I do have the written pattern available for this design, so if you're interested in making it, please check out the link in the description box! :)

This is amazing!! Do I have permission to write down this pattern and sell it as part of a project I'm doing!! X

Thank you! Are you asking for permission to sell the pattern (written instructions)? If so, it's against my copyright. However, you can link to my video (instead of sharing my pattern) and have others refer to my video to make the wings.

Hi, this is a premium (paid) patterns, so it is available as a written PDF pattern. You can see the information in the description box of the video. Hope this helps!
(I uploaded videos to share some parts of teh pattern that may be "trickier" to do. That's why there are videos on this pattern here.)

Hello. I’m trying to crochet dragon wings I have a pattern calling to start a chain 16.
    They come out ok.
I have tried to increase to ch 20. Keeping everything the exact same. But I cannot accomplish a larger wing. I need to keep the same hook as a larger one would make the stitch unmatched.
I can use your pattern. The problem is the same. The wing is to Small.
    I’d appreciate your input. Thanks

Hi! I think your best bet would be to contact the creator of that dragon pattern you're using and ask for input on how to make the wings larger. The reason is because the dragon wing that I'm showing here in THIS VIDEO is designed for my Mermaid Dragon pattern, and not for a different pattern. Hope this makes sense! Let me know if you have any other questions.

This is really hard to follow please make your instructions far more clear. Also, wtf is a chain two hole? You need to do a much better job of being considerate of the beginner crochet people in your audience. Very dissatisfied.

It states in the description this is an intermediate pattern and if you don’t know what a “chain 2” means then you clearly are not at this level. Don’t be rude due to your own ignorance.
