    I once left four stone eight pins in one game. I had no problems carrying on the left lane, but the right lane definitely didn't like me.

      City tournament almost 10 years ago in team event. Started the second game with four straight solid 8s. I damn near left.

    This is why you need to split the 8 and 9! The textbook 1-3-5-9 is no longer accurate with everyone throwing high-rev shots that the 5 pin is often chopped out by the headpin anyways.
