Ich habe am ganzen Körper Gänsehaut. Es tut so gut,so etwas Schönes zu sehen..❤
Für mich ist das die schönste Version von dem Lied.
Einmal weil ich die Freude, auf die hier wirklich angestimmt wird, voll aufspringen kann und weil hier so viele unterschiedliche Menschen auf einmal singen.
Hier kommt für mich die Zeile "alle Menschen werden Brüder" wunderschön zum Ausdruck

Musik, sind nicht nur Geräusche, es ist eine wertvolle Information für alle Menschen dieser Erde...!
Das hat mein Herz so berührt ich konnte vor Tränen gar nicht mehr richtig mitsingen , so emotional war das und dann die Stelle " alle Menschen werden Brüder " wenn es doch bloß endlich soweit wäre,das wir uns alle bei den Händen fassen und von ganzem Herzen miteinander verbunden sind und nur noch Liebe , Liebe Liebe die zählt.
Wunderschön. Immer und überall "Freude schöner Götterfunken".
Einfach geil.auch wenn es schon Jahre alt ist❤❤❤❤❤❤

All human beings. I myself (IMHO) do not see it as only about "Europe" even though I do know it is the EU anthem. I was born in Friesland Province of the Kingdom of the Netherlands and grew up in the US and Canada so I myself do not have any strong "nationalist" feeling. But my fluency in Dutch (and knowledge of Frisian) helped me to learn Deutsch so I cried too. But not because of any kind of nationalism or Europeanism per se. I have deep respect for ALL cultures as well as also being critical of militarist chauvinism and hyperbolic so-called patriotism. But again, those are merely my opinions. hbakker@uoguelph.ca

@ Its not about knowing the lyrics. Its about believing in the Idea that one day men shall unite for peace and prosperity of the world.
So you or anyone else knowing the lyrics in 3 or 30 languages still won't make any difference, especially when we still live in a world where hatred of man for another man and collective violence on others, are still the norm.

There are lyrics of this song in Latin saying that Europe is now united it will remain united, because in the force of unity the eternal peace will come.

It's the Leipzig Main Railway Station. Ode to Joy is the anthem of the European Union. It should be easy to learn the proper pronunciations of the German words. It just takes practice.

"Alle Menschen werden Brüder" - wie schön wenn es bald passiert und der verdammte Terror vorbei ist. Das Leben ist doch so schön. Besonders mit Musik.
Dazu möchte ich einwerfen, was in der zweiten Strophe steht: "Ja wer auch nur eine Seele, sein nennt auf dem Erdenrund, und wer's nie gekonnt, der stehle weinend sich aus diesem Bund."
Das wird meines Erachtens nach, viel zu oft übergangen.
Es kommt noch schlimmer 😭😭😭
