They tell us not to go to Africa, but they are there.
Africa is the only continent that doesn't need help from other countries. It has everything.
To African Americans, South Africa offer opportunity to live, breath, a true gift and privilege to black diasporans, A space and clarity to work towards a more dignified world. Although there are jarring racial disparities caused by centuries of minority rule, race based redress is an ongoing process. We welcome you to come and assist to shape Africa to be a better world.
Much love family. Can't wait to come home to The Motherland and our people ✊🏿
So why do African people live in America
@@globalgogetter4469🎉🎉🎉
Trust that we are coming! Slowly (and quietly but surely. 💪🏾😉
Our government must focus on attracting AAns in the Visa programs for skilled and business Visas as we share similar racial experiences.
Yes we need less Europeans now here in SA haybo it’s time AAns to wakeup and invest and enjoy the wealth of SA
I think especially in car industry, so country produces more cars parts locally. There are few car OEM and car components manufacturers that black owned.Maybe making special BBBEE ( Board Based Black Economic Empowerment)status for them. SA really needs to stop deindustrialization and start attracting new businesses to invest country especially manufacturers.
❤️🖤💚
'THE YEAR OF RETURN SA' just like Ghana has begun, thank you Mr Phil Scot
@@SakkieKoekemoer235 absolutely, and they are moving in large numbers, very skilled and business investors

You are more than welcome in South Africa
Awesome to see our American brothers visiting and discovering the true continent of Africa! Phil your doing a fantastic job! Much love!!!
Beautiful advertisement- no fake nails, no fake eyelashes. and lawdy ho weave hair! just beautiful.
All facts Phill , I was there last August in Cape Town, I was shocked . I had a greeeaaaat time!
Thank you brother Phill for visiting South Africa and thank you so much for advocating for us🙏🏾🤝🏾
I can't wait to start touring with you guys 💓
Thanks Phil for such a positive review of our country. Visiting the US two years ago with my family, one of the black brother inquired from us and said' how is the jungle out there' we were literally shocked to learn that, our brothers in the US still think in Africa people live in a jungle.🤭
wow😃🤣😂😂😂a jungle?
That's because they never teach Africa to the black Americans and before youtube and now these latest youtube channel showing Africa the United States limited the available information that blacks could get on Africa etc
Lol Dlukula same thing happened to me when I was in Tampa Florida at high learning institution there and I was asked by students pursuing serious degrees which shocked me to the bone 🦴🤣😂🤣😂🤣
I am now 45 years old, at 21 I had an African America family in Gabs City Botswana doing their thing. Shout out to the Moores', yall kno wat it is!
Phil this was my entire experience in South Africa 3 yrs ago... u are dead on with everything. We literally walked and rode multiple busses in soweto kicking it! The AA traits good and bad SAs take on. Welcoming us with love.. food taste amazing! Tab was cheap.. Culture with less culture shock. this is spot on! AA definitely need to set up in SA to start a movement for all diaspora
This is a message to all my American brothers and sisters a mind stuck in ignorance shall always stay in captivity
Very inspiring message. I will also stress the point of food in America. There is a reason why God made food not processed food I wish we can educate ourselves about how much food and medicine is killing us.
We eat medicine as our food instead of eating food as our medicine in black communities in America.
Thanks for the video I am very much pleased to hear Phill telling black folkes in America about Africa South Africa nobody is forced to come and live in South Africa, but come visit and experience it yourself but one thing forsure you will be thinking differently after the visit.
Tell them uncle Phil, great content.
That made me laugh when he started talking about the representation, advertisements of the women and he's right, that's sister had beautiful skin and her natural hair.. Phil said "no cockamini, green, weave"😭😂
😂😂😂😂😂 he killed me
Big up to Dr Phil ❤️❤️🇯🇲
Thanks Phil for saying as it is.I'm South African, currently living in Europe
.I've been following your CZcams channel for years.
It's a shame,we also get this kind of criticism from other black African countries too.(I'm not gonna mention names, here)
When they visit South Africa and see how well developed it is,they give credit to the white supremacists,as if blacks can't do anything for themselves.
They also make sure that they visit the poorest places in Soweto and make videos,so that they show it to the whole world.
To my surprise, they don't post negative videos about their country or any other African countries they visit, which might be less developed than ours.
Poverty is everywhere.
I like his views on immigration. Being labelled lazy by asylum seekers who's been to my country for few years always shocks me. we never defend ourselves against these daring accusations - anyway, forward we go! . . thank you for this awesome output.
You are totally correct on the Chinese. They come in groups of 50 to 100 at a time. The Indians and Arabs do the same model.
My Goodness true love❤
Love you so much brother,African
The same vlog on African diaspora channel has already garnered a lot of attention from the diaspora, AAns, with 54k + viewership in less than 4 weeks. Mr Scot and Mr Blanton can present this to our business investment and tourism minister for our 'year of return' but branded 'NDLU EMNYAMA KHUMBULA EKHAYA' 😃
I think Ghana as a whole prepared for the return....as a whole
Asé 👏🏿 brother Phill, that reparation is needed in South Africa 🇿🇦 this politicians must do something about it before they come up with different ideologies they must start with reparation collectively.
South Africa is ready to accept you brothers .... Great place for investment regardless what the white monopoly capitalist would say in terms of grading. I used to work for a Finnish company investing here.. Literally our foreign direct investments is still White. I ask myself where our brothers are at?
Let's unite economically cause this is where they have us by the balls. Already our privous laws have excluded us from the economy but still the little we get never last in our own economy. Unity in this will move the whole diaspora forward with real money coming into the continent.
Just some thoughts brothers. Much love from South Africa
Brother Phil was devastated by that restaurant...im glad u witnessed it.
Hi TRSA, thank you for bringing Phil to SA, watched his show afterwards. Very candid n to the point. Thank you Mark n Dr T.
Thanks
Hi brother Phil although I got this Video 2years after. Man Phil you are a real black South African YOU are nailing it Brother. Thank you for your advice you gave. You really make me cry because our hardships we experienced are the same. Now I know why we love African Americans so much. You pain is our pain. Other Africans did not experience the things we and you experienced. So brother thank you for your wise words. I will always follow your flogs. I am very thankful for having our people like you.
The country with the largest number of AAns in Africa is by far, GHANA. This is a result of 'Year of Return, GHANA 2019' program attracting the black diaspora, bringing skills and black investors.
AAns have little knowledge about SA as a developed country on the continent with roughly 4,2million black middle class population, the biggest in Africa and very much exposed to US black culture. Everyone who comes to SA from US, attest to the fact that being in SA is like being in the US, there is no culture shock. I am sure there are many AAns eager and yearning to relocate elsewhere outside the US to escape the social damage caused by racial profiling and other discriminatory practices.Apartheid and Jim Crow are not different, there are close parallels.
AAns wants to relocate where there will be less culture shock especially in Africa, SA has that.
As you are connected with those in government power structures eg. tourism, you are the best fit to initiate our so called 'concept of ' THE YEAR OF RETURN SA'. For starters SA Visa program attracting skilled immigrants, business Visas etc. And to be employed by a black person in many instances, you are less likely to be treated worse than being employed by another race group. Remnants of apartheid still haunts us this day in workplace environments and will be with us for many years to come. AAns must be given first priority in any immigrant Visa categories and applications processed speedily in order to transform our society.
Sounds like a call to South African Government by interested parties must happen
Well said. A slight correction though- AAs were moving to Ghana prior to the Year of Return. The history and pan African connection is what continues to attract many. The Year of Return definitely helped with tourism though.
Wow !!! This was dope and powerful enjoyed it .. 🎇
You’re Speak the truth my brother 🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲
Wonderful talk phil on your take on south africa 🇿🇦
"Guess who I saw in Soweto"! 😂😂
Who
The Return To Ghana movement is a wonderful initiative. However it has more to do with atonement and correction of past deeds. South Africa would have to extend and establish a different movement with a similar outcome. Perhaps a movement of Welcoming The Diaspora for their first time in the continent.
U make a mistake by lumping the whole continent into one … u think the whole of Africa participated in slavery think again South Africa had its own slavery nothing to atone for … basically South Africa owes you not a thing … educate yourself
@@asaasare220 Damn yo. I don't think you read what I said. I said Ghana is about atonement. Atonement meaning they are sorry for past wrongs by their ancestors. I distinguished that South Africa can welcome diasporans. But they need not atone for anything. Because yes ofcourse we were not part of the trans Atlantic enslavement of Africans to the America's.
@@asaasare220 I know a little bit about my continents history. And know full well of the various colonisers and what regions they took the vast majority of human beings from.
@@mrsoshadabaadman if U care to find out there was no Ghana back then .. the only reason that geographic location became a "base" so to speak was that it was "navigable" with a shoreline that could accommodate ships of that era.. apart from the gold ..... now the source of "slaves" was all across the west coast... Mali being landlocked Bourkina also landlocked La Cote d'ivoire with a coast line that had lots of estuaries or lagoons so the ships could not come that close... so Ghana or the gold coast per se or the people you find there today are comprised of even other africans who were not put on the ships ie remnants and people migrating from other places... U surely have not given much thought to the history you think you know... yours is so tinged with emotion hence throwing in words like atonement.... in short u think you know but a little knowledge is dangerous
@@mrsoshadabaadman Before westafrica slavery, there was east, central and southern African slavery.all u know guys is only western slavery and by then there was such thing like Ghana country.slaves were collected allover africa wake up.Find out fort Jesus in Mombasa the purpose it served by then!
I want 'spookies' please🤣🤣🤣
I love you brother you bring back the original struggle of black folks in the 60s and 70s keep on pushin'..
Thanks!
The GBV is happening in many countries including the USA, the vast majority of South African men are not like that actually, it's just that when it does happen

This is totally correct. It is more expensive but it is better to do a direct flight. Bypass Amsterdam by any means necessary.
Yes, use Delta air lines, I used it from Jo'burg when I came to the US some years ago.

Talk reality very impressive and unique
SA couldn't have a Year of Return because most diasporans trace their ancestry back to West Africa, not Southern Africa. It would be wiser to brand it as something different and unique to SA.
Year of Return is not necessarily to the same place they were taken from in Africa. Africa as a whole is a homeland for black people and any return should be to any country they would wish to come to.
@Queenceba u must probably be from West Africa. I know most of u like to comment like that n act as if u are South Africa, to seperate Black AMERICANS from US. It is kool they are welcome here in South Africa.
@@tshekimotsepe9794 Hi Tsheki, I'm actually a Black American. My ancestors were stolen from West Africa. I absolutely love the continent of Africa as a whole. I've lived in Namibia, visited South Africa four times and Ghana six times. I'm not trying to be divisive. I was just stating a fact about the Year of Return which I've been to twice. No need for negative energy. I actually hope and pray that more Black Americans visit and move to South Africa and Africa as a whole. Peace.
@@robertmkandawire8616 I agree. Africa as a whole is the homeland for Black diasporans. I believe the intention of Ghana was to invite diasporans back there because most of their ancestors are from West Africa. That's all I'm saying. I do hope that more of us diasporans visit the continent as a whole.
@@Queenceba29 but there were no countries in Africa during slavery. There were regions. The Year of the Return would suggest that the ancestors were kidnapped from a particular country. That's not true.

Lol.. brother Phil is hilarious
There recently discovered oil and gas in the Eastern Cape seas. South Africa Indian Ocean with easy access that will add $20 trillion to the economy as per projections. Imagine if we get the right immigrants who will have skills set and entrepreneurship we need and partner with South Africans it will be extraordinary
Hi Phil, thanks for the review of my city however I'd l[ke to say with your short stint in my town you have a better if not the best analysis of Cape Town. the last time I remember we had we had about four and half to four point eight white people in this country as a whole. How do you not expect to see 4.8m people in Joburg, Durban and not in Cape Town?
Uh oh! Uncle Phil went in. 😅
In Kenya no food shortage..... But when u watch west media they keep saying how africa is starving... Very funny
That time we are feeding the west 😂😂😂...... We have a huge agri-food export market but apparently we starving ..... We must open our eyes to the lies
We need to establish a good trading relationship between African countries. We could really do without the west.

I’m interested in this trip to SA in April. ❤How do I get information?
I’m South African, but apparently our fruits have nothing on east Africa, in size and flavour.
Mmusi Maimane who is the most popular politician in South Africa, he was the leader of the opposition party, but left it a few years ago just before covid to start his own movement called the One South Africa Movement. He has been talking about some Form of justice for black South Africans, like the reparations you are talking about, and the man is planning to become President soon, I think he will win. So I think what you are saying will happen eventually, reparation or something similar to that.

What i have observed is that when African Americans relocate to the continent, they don't move with children, its predominantly the grannies, moms and pops. The millennials don't even bother, only visit as tourist.
Education cannot be an excuse not to move with families, especially in SA which has the best internationally recognised universities and best health care system. I am just curious to know why?

They are tons of wheat farmers in the United States. However the United States refuses to utilize our farmers. Instead they go to other countries for boob. That's a big problem.
With U.S. controlling snack foods in other countries corn syrup is the cause of obesity in those countries as well.
