Crash Team Racing Nitro Fueled! I was recording races and I stumbled upon a cheater using the illegal shortcut in the N.Gin Lab track. I could understand if you wanna do it in single player or time attack, but don't do that shit online. It's unfair and no one else is doing it in the lobby. Hopefully this gets patched up soon by Beenox. Thanks for watching everyone!

Just to clarify with some people in the comments since I can't get to everyone. If you literally do an illegal shortcut that literally cuts half the track or greater, it's cheating. No way in hell that's a legit tactic to win. There are shortcuts in the game that are known and are made specifically for the track. This is not one of those cases.
Never seen this shortcut before still don't know how it works but that explains why I was losing online against two n tropy players the other day on n gin labs that's bullshit no skill involed just luck based

Honestly this game is dying thaks to microtransactions and the shit ppl are allowed to do to break tracks. Worst part is the ones who get WR on a cheatable track will be immortalized on the leaderboard once the patch comes around. SHouldn't be too hard for Beenox to go in and delete cheater times off the leaderboards. Would be hellah obvious which times are legit and which ones aren't.
I know about this glitch, but i refuse to do it online. In arcade mode its all good.

I'm the same, I use these in time trials, but i refuse to use these cheese methods online

The crazy thing is that I had someone doing that in one of my games as well but it was on slide coliseum. I was well ahead of everyone since the start of the game and even finished in 1st but I noticed when I was waiting for everyone to try and cross the finish line before the time ran out the guy who was in 7th somehow took first place from me as I'm watching the positions everyone was in. I have that game recorded too just so I could go back and look at EXACTLY what happened to make sure I wasn't tripping. I agree I hope Beenox catches on quick to players cheating just to win.
All the people are so focused on winning multiplayer games, they lose the real focus... I would be happy even without the real shortcuts but whatever. Glitch shortcuts are the worst. Online needs to become more stable, fixing glitches and reducing lag.
They really need to pull that track out of rotation for a bit at least until they fix that glitch.

I used it to beat Tropy and Oxide's times, cause well... it's my game and it's single player.
However, I would never do it racing online.

They did say "Win by whatever means necessary" and besides these can be found online. It's not like only hackers or pros know about it

Had 4 people doing this, was so confused why i was at 5th for a bit when I should've been in 1st. Luckily, they were terrible doing the glitch and I managed to get 2nd place.

for the n trophy ghost it's pretty easy actually, if you can keep the blue fire until the second turn after the three turbo pads every lap, you will probably get it

Ive been in lobbys where everyone including me used that exploit.
And yes, its super easy to do aswel.
When u reach that ramp just do a hard turn to the left. When u respawn instead of continuing the track as normal, do a hard right turn at the very next turn.
Now normally u would get picked up & placed back on the track, but instead the game allows you to finish the lap even when you skipped half of it.
When the game starts telling you that "you're going the wrong way" just ignore it & cross the finish line.
important note is that you have to be respawned **after** the ramp, this is how you know the glitch is working. if you are respawned a few meters back instead, you need to try again.
imo the only way to get Beenox's attention is by telling everyone how to do the glitch so we can all do it, because simply reaching out to them directly isn't working. They're not listening even on their official Twitter. It's frustrating.

When I saw this video I thought you were gonna do something about it like do the glitch as well and beat the cheater. On this track I always start slow to see if anyone goes for the glitch and if nobody does it I race normally, if I see someone go for it I do it as well to try and beat them
This happened to me on tiny arena went from first to 8th didn't even know there was a shortcut on tiny arena lol

For some reason everytime I finish a race I come in last and it says I'm in first or atleast further then last like 2nd or 3rd. Sometimes even have a lap ahead. I know all the ins and out of the game I got the platinum in 4 days so I'm not no means bad. Why does this keep happening ?
Reminds me of the Mario Kart 7 glitched shortcut in the course maka wuhu which allows you skip an entire lap.
And the funny thing is...
it still hasn't been patched even to this day so you can exploit it as much as you want if you ever return to that game.

I had seen this with my own eyes, after this I searched for a video about this "shortcut", dude you can do it on time trial but don't use this on online you're ruin all the fun

That exact thing happened to me too on the same track, a player using Baby T (Purple) did that during the race.
this'll sound kinda crazy, but i'm sure people have also encountered the supposed "I won the race but the game says I lost" incident. I feel that should be a think for people who use exploits in online races, if they exploit & win, don't record the time & just place them last. It's only a stupid idea because It doesn't justify the race ends timer.
Sigh, whats worse is that when it was first found.... it was half the racers were doing it
If anyone picks the map just simply leave. I seen the glitch done on a time trial video. After that I leave everytime it's picked.
i agree, you can do it all you want to complete time trial, but online is cheating, thats why this need to be patched because of scumbags
@@erika_kurumi_dolce_cure_marine It's cheating in both cases. The main reason it's cheating on time trial, is because it's an easy way out when beating oxide, but it's also cheating when done online because not all players in the lobby know how to do it making it unfair.
Yknow what I'd be tempted to do to the little cheater. Try follow his specific location on the track, even if it means going in reverse etc. and trying to spam him with so many rockets, bombs, clocks, auks etc. to try to desperately knock him into second. Yeah you'll come 8th, but at least he didn't come 1st xD (bonus points if they rage quit)
I noticed u was on xbox during this vid...honestly i tried doing it for a relic race cause it was a pain to do but the glitch didnt work for me at all and i was in adventure mode...is that y it didnt work for me? also i havent came across anyone doing that glitch yet

How do people do this? It happens everytime I race online! For example i was in 3rd today on a race and after crossing the finish line I was bumped down to 6 place! Like how?! It makes me so mad!
This happened to me once just because I was in first place the dude in 3rd got desperate and decided to do that people can be just sad
I pulled off that glitch in the time trials, it does work, hopefully, Beenox will patch that out soon. :)

The same happened to me 2 days ago, but not only 1, 2 another guys did the same so I passed from 1st, to 4th
Same thing happened to me, but AFTER I saw somebody was about to do this, I did it too just to not let him win. I know it's bad and I wouldn't go through this glitch otherwise, but I just had to give him a lesson. Strange enough, he was also blue Baby T. However, I don't remeber his name.
I only plan to use this glitch in local vs against friends. 🤣 even tho I usually beat them I think this will just tilt them even more lol
Oh yeah we all know about that glitch terrible to use online. Perfectly good to use to get the Platinum time Relic and beat the time trial.

That skips too much of the track for a legal shortcut, it can't even mean "short"cut xD I read that it helps a lot for offline wumpa coins but I guess it had to be expected that someone (with no competitive spirit) would use it for online mode.
Floyd not to mention to activate the glitch you need to go out of bounds to the left of the boost pad first. I can believe people actually thinks this is legal

Luckily i didn't find anyone using this glitch online, however this is not the major issue in my opinion.
The major issue for me is the disconnection trick.
I mean, it doesn't hurt anyone, but it makes you think: i will use it, faster wumpa coins farm!

As much as I hate the "skip all the track" glitches, a cheater is someone who uses gameshark or other crap. He exploited something that is in the game to win. It's Beenox's fault.
It's still cheating. Using an expoit isn't playing by the rules therefore it's cheating. Hacking on the other hand is even worse.

He used something that it's in the game code, without messing with the code itself. If the game allows him to do that, it's Beenox's fault

Imagine a 1km sprint, where there are no cameras to keep watch. Imagine someone cuts the track half way by sprinting across the center, and they win. That's cheating but the people in charge of the race weren't aware of it and it's their fault for not keeping an eye out on the race.
If we go by that logic, then exploits in video games is in fact cheating. No matter who is at fault.

You're comparing the judges not seeing someone breaking the rules to the system allowing someone to break the rules
Also the exploit is avaiable to everyone, there is no third party act.
In the end this matter is VERY subjective and it depends when the person draws the line. I would rather play without glitching the game but I don't mind other people doing so.

Well I feel that's only good for online so that it's not a mess and to a lesser extent adventure mode because the fun of CTR local is the hectic craziness of the game combined with the races
There's a cheater on xbox named: "DethMatt AB" , he's in the top of most time trials leaderboards, he uses the glithes to win online matches. These guys must be reported

I only took advantage of the illegal shortcut to get the platinum relic for this track, but never online so I hope it gets patched soon.
I felt dirty for doing that and the platinum relic on Adventure mode, so I git gud and complete both the legal way. Feels better.

do not take the race when you know who has the glitch because he will not want to remove the glitch because of the time trial so as I say not take the race or deal with it

I was in first place on the scoreboard then out of nowhere it moved me to 5th place. I really don't know why people call themselves pro players when they have to have cheats to play online which ruins the game for everyone who has been playing legitimately, Cheaters would be lost without their cheats then they would play like a true Noob not like a pro player. Cheaters/hackers will always be noob players. Cheaters/hackers think it's fun to cheat when really don't care about online players. I don't care if they cheat offline but for online play keep your 🤬 cheats offline for god sake.
The online in this game is a mess, the weapons are trash, ghost walls everywhere, and now this.... What a fucking disappointment beenox.
