You missed on many other local dishes.. You should have tried Tunisian couscous, pasta, tajine, chorba also other street food like mlewi,chapati,fricasse.. Tunisian cuisine is very rich and diverse I hope you enjoyed your stay :))
Brilliant video - excellant descision to include prices . Unlike many other vids you showed what it looks like unlike so many others that spend most of the time with the camera pointed at themselves Excellant video very watchable - now subed - ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🏴🏴🏴🏴🏴🏴🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏.
Glad you managed to explore and have good time outdoors despite the cruel heat xd. I have always wondered how the hotel looks like from inside (as a tunsian) so thanks for showing it. Great video
Thank you! I went in mid-late September so I think the weather wasn't as bad as going in the middle of the summer :) The hotel was very clean and we enjoyed our time in Tunisia!🥰
as a tunisian , i prefer tunsia visiting soussa which is a city in the middle of tunisia famous by a town called el kantaoui its a nice city to explore especially in summer if you adore the sun and the beach
Very informative video and thanks for including the information about the prices. Loved it. Couple of questions if you can please help 1: You mostly went by a cab but I wonder if you needed a guide to visit these tourist attractions or you just did it by yourself? 2: You shared the prices for the cabs and food but what about tipping? How much is expected to tip the cab drivers, hotel staff and restuarant servers etc. ? Thanks
Thank you very much! Here are the answers to your questions: 1. We explored mostly on our own without a guide. But if you want to learn more in-depth about the places and depending on your preferences, you might want to consider hiring a guide. Below are some options we considered: www.viator.com/tours/Tunis/Private-Day-Tour-on-Medina-of-Tunis-La-Goulette-Carthage-Sidi-Bousaid/d30157-327700P11?pid=P00164162&mcid=42383&medium=link www.viator.com/tours/Tunis/Private-excursion-to-Kairouan-El-Jem-and-Monastir-from-Tunis/d30157-327700P3?pid=P00164162&mcid=42383&medium=link 2. While tipping is appreciated, I don't think it's obligatory in Tunisia. Since we had to pay in cash in most places and I didn't always have exact change, I usually rounded up and gave 5-10% extra. But again, I don't think it's required :)
In order to go to tourist attractions you can use a cab or TCV which is a private and comfortable bus usually parked in "la passage" area and leaves every half an hour starting from 8 clock. For 2 point : Please never tip in a taxi and avoid Bolt in case you find a normal taxi because it is more expensive than a normal taxi, or just check other apps like Yassir and Indrive to know approximatively the right price and use whatever suits you. If you'd like to tip, that would be for the honest taxi drivers that give the right price since the beginning. For servers, there are ones who accept and others who don't ! if the bill comes 48dt or a little above 45 than 50dt is fine but no more than that ... Wish you an upcoming great trip in Tunisia
Don't tip any taxi driver in Tunisia 🇹🇳 they already take the exact amount of trip ..for hotels and restaurants tips is up to you it's not obligatory In Tunisia, we don't like taking money from other people without make them a service But there are alot of foreigner residents in Tunisia who are asking for tips or they are begging for money ( basically the Syrians and black Africans they literally are causing us shame) don't ever give them money if they do ask you ..also pushy sellers the majority are libyans and Algerians also don't deal withem if you come to my country ...just pay for the service or the food don't tip anyone
Welcome to my country Tunisia 🇹🇳. But you haven't visit all Tunisia place. We have very beautiful places in Tunisia like Bizert, Kobros, Hammamet, Sousse, Kairwan and the Desert (Sahara)....

Those "fries" are more like chips like us Brits have. Chunky "fries". So they would be crispy on the outside and fluffy like mash potato on the inside

What time of the year did you go? Looks like fun, similar to Morocco where I have been many times.
I went in mid-late September. I enjoyed visiting both Tunisia and Morocco :)

Omg, you said it was 30 degrees 2 weeks ago!!! How hot does it get in June please
this was in summer not in winter

It get as hot as 53 degree

You didn't go to Carthage?
Am Tunisian did you like my country??😊😊❤❤

Did you use bolt to call the cab? Or just hail them
Hi there! I used Bolt most of the time.
Taxis in Tunisia are yellow Every taxi has a red and green lighting device, the red is available and the green is busy Just raise your hand and say taxi ☺️
10 dt for brik is very expensive it cost 2dt at best in other restaurants
1 brick = 1 dinar by definition, it's how our currency is defined 😅
When was this video recorded?
Mid to late September 2023.
I want to settle down which person we can meet for my papper work please send me reply or guide me
How do you like Tunisia
It was good! It was a bit too hot as I went in September but I enjoyed exploring Tunis and Sidi Bou Said :)
안녕하세요 도움 많이 받습니다. 혹시 식당에서 카드 결제 되나요?
