Another great little review video thanks. I just got the pillow ad the hammock from them yesterday can’t wait for my next camp
Appreciate the feedback Brian 😊 Glad the videos are coming across ok and are of some use to you! That pillow… you’ll love it. A little luxury.
Good setup 👌 I'm just dabbling with camping and the idea of bikepacking at the moment but enjoy seeing what setups people use. New sub, looking forward to seeing how your channel develops, good luck 🤞 🙂
Evening Niall, thanks for getting in touch 😊 I can’t recommend Bikepacking enough! Every trip you learn something new about setup and gear but that’s just part of the fun. I’ll be sure to swing by your channel later on 👍🏻
Useful, thank you 😊
Hello 😊 Glad I could help out. I will be doing an updated version of this video soon! A bit more comfort and warmth for the cooler weather. Thanks for watching.
very helpful, just need the Ultra 120 , Have the bivvy, pillow and recently got the CloudBase.
Glad I could help out. It’s a great lightweight combo for a 2 season camping pack. Maybe 3 season if you handle the cold better than I do! Enjoy your trips mate 😊
I can't believe you didn't use a star wipe - top tier video editing.
May have to get myself a bike sorted out😂
Maybe next time haha! Get a bike for sure, good for fitness and transport 🙌🏻
always interested in bivy campers, we have so much rain I would be chicken but easy to see the appeal
Hi Nanci, thanks for getting in touch 😊 Pick a nice summers night for your first bivvy and go from there. If it’s really wet and going to rain I’m in the tent. The weather in Scotland is pretty poor also but we get the occasional nice evening haha!
You need a air pad or you lose all your heat from the ground … i see your a fan of alpkit gear I had few pieces of there gear their pipdream 200 is great for summer and really pack Dow i have there large hunk xl bivy it very good … but all of there pads are not great they leak from the seam weld
Hi 😊 I’ve not had any issues with my cloud base pad leaking thankfully! Seems to stay up all night. I’ll take a look at the pipedream 200 👍🏻
Apart from the bivi, that's exactly what I'm going to get. I'm going for the elan bivi instead. Totally with you on the pillow. Why suffer?
I have the elan also nowadays 👌🏻 If I would change anything about this setup it would be an upgraded sleeping mat. I did a review on a sea to summit one but for the price that one is very good! Why suffer indeed 😊 Thanks for taking the time to leave a comment!
@@thebikepackingdad I'll check that review out, thank you. It's good to learn from other people. Much appreciated 🙏
@@CB19087 you’re very welcome. Hope it helps you out 🤞🏻😊
@@thebikepackingdad i chickened out at the last minute and went for the 1man tent! I think the rain pounding on my skylight right now subconsciously influenced me 🤣
@@CB19087 is that the soloist? If so I have that and it’s top notch mate! Not much heavier or bigger to pack and goes up and down quickly also. I’ll let you off 😜
