I have received the jacket today and looks really good so far. sleeves were little longer for me, otherwise fits perfect. quality is pretty good as per the price i got. Overall nice jacket for all kinds of weather. so will try this jacket outside in the cold. it’s -10° C outside today, pretty good time to test how the insulated dubliner jacket from Helly Hansen performs. will write the feedback after that.
Update:
Tested the jacket recently in 12C°-14C°C below Zero, outside yesterday. Stood 15 min, i almost felt nothing in the body area, felt some cold in sleeves. This insulated version of dubliner does what it says. Remember, I only had a T-shirt inside the the jacket. If I use a light shirt or long sleeve sweater that’s enough to keep warmer. My concern is the garment in this jacket is not as good as in regular Dubliner jacket since it shrinks. I also have regular dubliner jacket and i don’t see any wrinkles when squeezed. it’s my personal opinion. i don’t know if other experience the same. Otherwise, the jacket is overall good. I highly recommend it for cold weather if you guys are looking for a affordable jacket in reasonable price. This does everything you need in a winter jacket like other premium jackets. Safe purchase folks! I’m very pleased 😀 with the purchase.

Yes inside the jacket at the left side there is a little pocket where you can stow your wallet or your microfibre gloves.

Ciao. É una giacca che va bene per le mezze stagioni e per le giornate invernali quando la temperatura non scende sotto i 4°C (vestito con un maglione e camicia/ felpa).

Hi, has anyone used it to go skiing (even though I know it's not a ski jacket technically) ? Does it keep you relatively warm if you wear a thermal or sweater below it even in say -5 degree Celsius temperature?

Starting from my ski experiences I wear other jackets for skiing.
I just can say it has similar features like quest TNF jacket (this last one, I've worn for skiing).
You maybe try this HH jacket till 0'Celsius (or close this temp.), wearing thermal layers. I don't think it goes down over the temp you imagine 👌.

Hi. 2000 mt asl with -5 Celsius (with slow/no wind) and a couple of layers under it, is perfect.

Hi Alex. As you know HH is an European brand.
Their items are true to size. I generally wear L size for tee, sweater and Jackets for several brands... So for HH I've chosen a L. 👌

Ho il north face diablo 700 provato con -10 gradi e sentivi poco freddo di recente in un mercatino dell’usato ho trovato un giubbotto helly hansen ed è un giubbotto penso da sci perché come imbottitura è molto spesso un bel po di più del north face. sul sito helly hansen non lo trovato quindi mi sa che è un modello raro

Per l'HH se é una giacca da sci avrà sicuramente il tessuto esterno più rigido rispetto al Diablo, quindi proteggerà meglio dal vento e dall'umidità 🙂

Generally for a standard walking in the snow with -40°C you have to consider an Himalayan Transantarctic Parka for TNF, or an Artic Patrol for HH or a Canada Goose Expedition Parka.
PS Important is also the layering underneath!
HH is the best. NF / Columbia / and Patagonia are great but HH is the best

It's a nice material of the jacket. But I don't like the shoulders on this jacket.
Yep, nice material and construction... very useful to face with winter weather.
