The drumming on this record is so authentic while still being extremely virtuosic.
Sometimes I'm like "Right, there's a dude who actually came up with and plays this stuff." and then I just continue listening and enjoying myself.
Aviations has made it almost impossible for me to listen to any other band. New album is incredible. Being a drummer, James is the real draw for me. This guy’s playing is freaking tasty and inspiring. The rest of the band is just as incredible
You said it man. My brother in law and I have echoed the same sentiments. You can hear the classical education; every note is purposely placed, and everything is so dynamic. There's no one out there like them.

My eyes and ears do don’t deserve to watch/hear this. I love when it goes into thirds around like 8:28, just feels like an epic fun conclusion to a stellar record

I'm a drummer so I obviously gravitate towards how good James is, but Jesus. This whole band is top tier, and they've been putting out top tier since 2018. Even the music vids are fire. How do we not have a tour I can buy tickets to? Searched the page like a crackhead and saw you guys toured with Sawce and Arch Echo. Come to Detroit. We'll treat you right 🤣
