I don’t think anyone really understands the entire concept of hell fire until that day and I don’t believe it changes any believer’s perception. Whether the fire burns nonstop or stops burning after consuming the unbelievers, it does not change the believer at all. The fact that it will not burn for ever may seem attractive to the unbeliever because he burns to ashes in a split second and seizes to exist and has no memory of what happened. So, I don’t see how this teaching gives a sense of urgency to evangelism
How is it a PUNISHMENT if someone is burnt into ashes? That’s like someone dying and his body is cremated. The SOUL is eternal. So, how can you burn something that is eternal to ashes? This teaching is the same with the Jehovah’s Witnesses teaching about hell. No difference.
Do you think all Jehovah's Witness doctrines are wrong? When I was younger, I also believed all their doctrines were wrong based on what I heard from many Pentecostal Pastors. When I started growing up and researching about Christianity, I discovered they have more correct doctrines than most Pentecostal churches we have in Ng today. I'm not saying they are 100%. They are also off in a few. Death sentence is technically the highest punishment on earth by our justice system. The family of the criminal won't see him again. He also can't see anyone again. So, why do you think burning into ashes is not a punishment. Thank God, men are not God, we will be so wicked. For you not to classify burning into ashes as a punishment, I'm not sure how compassionate you are. My observation about this hell fire topic is, most of us Africans don't want to hear that the fire is not forever. We really want God to massively punish sinners. Most Oyibo are happy when they hear is not forever. In fact, some of them are even leaving Christianity because they can't just phantom a loving God ALLOWING (not sending) his creature to burn in hell forever. What shaped both mentalities is our justice system in this world. Most Oyibo countries have justice systems that deal with the wicked ones among them on earth. Most African countries do not have such system yet. That's why when powerful people in society cheat us, we will say, God will judge them. So, a lot of Africans will be happy to see those powerful guys they can't bring to justice on earth to be gnashing their teeth and crying forever. Above all, what does the Bible say? Dr Abel Damina was correct. Watch the complete series, you will know if the soul is eternal or not. The fire is not forever. Early Christians do not have this concept of hell fire most Pentecostal are parading today. Go study the history. This concept was technical introduced to make ppl convert out of fear. If you notice, any religion that does not have hell fire concept are not getting huge convertions. That's how Islam and Christianity became two main religions.
Jesus Christ my Lord , i honour you for the Gift of a good Preacher, thank you Papa❤❤

Its all about Jesus Christ (Alpha and Omega Logos and Reality) seeing him through and throughout the Ages as Age of light
It's true he'll was cast to the lack of fire, spirit burning sin. Separation from God's presence Matthew 25:41.

Good
God bless you man of God.
Please my question is if everlasting has a time period.. then does it means that, everlasting life too has a time period?
Jesus gives eternal life. The believer gets eternal life not everlasting life (John 10:28-30).
Good question. I have the same question because everlasting and eternal mean the same thing
