Usually, people would just play up the bizarre, nightmarish imagery, but this takes it a step further with the multitude of genres and tones these story worlds embody, giving it a sense of wonder over as much as fear or sorrow, as if it’s both celebration of fiction as much as it is a bizarre drug trip or a nightmare over existence and its discontents.
