    Amazing. Now, do 86 more boyz, 3 more boss nobz with power klawz, 3 weirdboyz, 10 kommandos, a warboss, and a painboy this way, and you'll be ready to start painting the vehicles for your 2k army.

      I guess it depend on the Ork. But maybe 3ish hours for one. Could be less could be more

    • @Ravenovycz
      @Ravenovycz Před 6 lety +2

      Wow. I guess airbrush makes parts of it much faster, but still. It takes me 3ish hour for base colors and wash!
      Keep up the good work. Any ideas for the future videos? Different colors? Or vehicles? There are 35276 tutorials for skin, couple for basic Boyz and a little for vehicles. Maybe a plane? I don't think you had one.

    I noticed some of your paints are in droppers vs the pots. Which do you prefer? Im debating transfering mine to droppers but Im not sure if its worth all the work

    • @QuarterPaint
      @QuarterPaint  Před 6 lety +1

      The dropper bottles help with not losing paint from GW's paint pot design. However I used flow-aid in my paints to help the transfer into the droppers and I am regretting that. It helps to ensure my paints are thin, but at times it does not allow me the control of my paint consistency that I want. So I am on the fence about the dropper bottle transfer. I may only do it for colors that I majority use with the airbrush

    • @stephenmoore8994
      @stephenmoore8994 Před 6 lety +1

      @@QuarterPaint do you think if I were to use distilled water instead of flow improver that it could help to fix the issue of not being able to control consistency? Or would that just end up with the same result? I've never messed with flow improver but Im about to as I just got an airbrush

  • @seanc8054
    @seanc8054 Před 6 lety +1

    can you suggest what kind of paintbrush to buy i keep getting not good ones, ive never painted anything before, so i have no idea what a good paintbrush for minis even is, ive just been buying little paintbrushes and ive been having a hard time getting the results i see online, so it's either ..my paint, or my brushes or both

    • @QuarterPaint
      @QuarterPaint  Před 6 lety

      A good brush will help a lot, but it isn't going to magically make you a better painter. GW and Army Painter make some fine brushes to start out with. If you are looking for finer artist quality brushes the Winsor and Newton series 7 brushes or the Raphael 7408 are quite nice, but they cost a bit more. I was using a Raphael 7408 size 0 brush for this whole video

    • @QuarterPaint
