You're a public relations major. How did that help your application for this position? (since it is a marketing position) Also, how did your previous internships help since they were more communications-focused? Did it help that you had lots of transferable skills?
You apply for the Google BOLD program not a particular position--Google places you where they think you will be a great fit in the company! My major does not equate to all of my skills, however, PR is a major/field that is found in almost every company.

I currently have a job, but of course would want to branch out according to my graduate degree I am currently working towards. I was wondering if a Google pays? I wouldn’t want to leave my current job for a couple months to go to an internship where I’m not earning any money.

Since your a software development major I recommend asking a recruiter since I applied to a marketing role and it probably is not weighed the same in their decisions ☺️ Hope this helps

For example:
Google engineering practicum- freshmen and sophomore

I totally understand that you're not a recruiter. I was just hoping to find out a general range where your GPA was.

They provide a relocation stipend for their interns! I will be getting a short term apartment like I did for my past internships in NYC
