Your customer is dissatisfied? Pay attention to this

Dissatisfied customers are a nightmare for any freelancer. So it's good to know which obligations you actually have to meet.
If you have concluded a contract for work and services, your client can demand the following from you:
• Supplementary performance
You repair the defective work or deliver a new, improved version.
• Self-remedy
If the supplementary performance fails, your customer can rectify the defect themselves and have the costs reimbursed by you.
• Withdrawal
If supplementary performance fails, your customer can withdraw from the contract. Both parties will be treated as if the project had never taken place. If you have already received a payment, you have to pay it back.
• Reduction
Clients can also reduce your payment instead of withdrawing from the contract.
• Compensation for damages
Your customers have the option of claiming compensation from you for expenses or instead of performance.
In the case of a service contract, however, there is the scenario of poor performance. If you have performed your work poorly or not as agreed, your customer is entitled to compensation if they have suffered damages as a result of your poor performance. You will still receive your payment.
