Sure there are great stryfe rewire guides, but your guides have been crystal clear. So a guide for flywheels would be awesome
Video quality with the phone is not bad at all. Side note my little girl got me some revamped's from you for my birthday. She says thanks.
Very nice quick but extreme useful video. I would love one on the Kelly Industries solder board you sell in your shop. There is no documentation anywhere (including the Kelly Industries website) and definitely no youtube videos at least that I can find on how to properly install these.
I would you to do 101 on lipo sizes, I’m wanting to find a small lipo for my stryfe which doesn’t that much shell modding
Looked up this video to figure out where to put the lipo alarm.
Ended up jump scaring myself LOL.
I just ordered one off Amazon less than $6 can't wait to get it thanks for the video!
Still, fantastic quality. Thanks for all you do!!!
Great video Luke,
I'll be fitting my first LiPo voltmeter/alarm on my Rayven once my package arrives from you, (I know it takes a while to ship to the UK) as i've been using a pocket voltmeter/alarm on a lanyard until now.
I'm really looking forward to getting the OFP Rayven cage (as I melted the stock one!) the Rayven switch plate and the K26 for my Kronos, it's great that you sell the K26 cut to size and rounded off, for those of us who don't have the proper tools (yet).
I'm planning on ordering a few of motors from you, I did write it down somewhere, yes, 7 Rhinos, 18 Neo-Rhinos and 6 Honeybadgers to go in my Rapidstrikes, Hyperfires, Modulus ECS-10, Regulator, Rayvens and Mega Mastodon (with some home-made PVC Shims). I can see the Regulator being a problem as I already fried one of them, but Chris from Project Nerf said he'd help me with a step down transformer (buck?) for the Regulator so I don't fry another!
Luckily I found a LiPo that will fit all of them and have enough power, I'm thinking a few 2200mAh 3S Zippy Compacts, 60c Constant - 70c Burst, should fit in all of them (I did check the battery compartment sizes) and have enough Amperage for the motors, is that right?
Do you have any switch suggestions or preferences?
They should give me some serious smiles, opposed to C or D cells and stock motors :)
Your Etsy shop is great, you have everything I need (minus the Lipo's) which I have to get from Hobbyking because of living in the UK and the shipping issues associated.
The video and audio quality was great
I got the Sony A7III a couple weeks ago. I love its full frame awesomeness lol. I use it for photography but for video work it should be butter. What lenses do you have?
So glad I found this video, thank you 🙏
Great video, I like your informative and focused format. As for more Nerf 101 content; LiPo batteries, Wiring Upgrades, Flywheels, and Flywheel Cages. Basically a Nerf Guide to Modding for Dummies.
I'm new to Nerf and would rather learn from the best and do the mod right the first time.
Getting into flywheels Luke! This was usefull for me. Thanks! Also enjoyed your lipo safety course video :-)
What do you think of the concept of replacement rival motors in 360 size? I mean, for most purposes the standard motors are fine, but with the proton pack it takes more torque, and that would allow you to not do any shell cutting.
Love it, more please! Vid looks great as well!
Dude thank you for this. I bought some of those little red ones from Amazon. I thought something was wrong with them and was about to return them. They alarmed as soon as I plugged in the battery. I had no idea you had to wait for it to "initialize".
Are you talking about the loud first beep or did yours keep beeping for a while before it was initialized? I’m so upset mine won’t stop beeping on a full battery
I’m curious, where do you recommend putting the meter? Say on a Stryfe? The voltage connects aren’t very long.
Hey...that's pretty good! 😃👍
Nice vid Dude!
can i get a 101 on choosing the Right LiPo ?
i was looking and i saw 3 mains factors, 3s, 2s, etc. 40c 25c 20c 50c and then finally from 500mah to 5000mah, also, if i buy a LiPo without an XT60 connector can i just cut it off and wire one on instead of its connector safely?
There no nurture canes anymore where are they on your Etsy shop I already looked and why are they so expensive
Great quality
Make the nemesis video
Can't wait to see the new website and shop. TkEZ》UK
WoW and a Greet video again
Are these also working with lihv cells?
Hey out of darts i have a turnigy graphene 2s 950mah lipo for a blaster and i dont know what battery charger to use can u please send me a link or tell me what will work thank you
Funny, after I read you article about LiPO Safety I remembered when my uncle brought an old drone from his house. I had to construct it and not knowing about how hazardous LiPO batteries are, once I found out the drone motors were broken my mom threw the unit and the LiPO battery in the GARBAGE CAN.
what happened
Where on the blaster do I store my voltage alarm
Have you ever looked into Gel Blasters?
video was good quality
Video looks fine fromnthe iPhone (but then I'm watching on 7inch screen)
Hope the little one is Ok. They take up a lot of time but are so wonderful.
And
How about LiPo 101. Making the jump from stock batteries to LiPo is a big unknown.
Can I use this device while riding my rc car?
good info
Wait so the alarm is to notify u when a battery is dead enough to no longer use? Or does it notify you that its low and its time to charge?
Yes. The alarm tells you when you go below a set voltage, where you should stop using that battery immediately, and safely store or charge it.
Focus on the mini god!!!!
just kidding up the good work
Could you show us how to install these into a stryfe
the one without a display starts screaming at 3.3V, the other one can be configured. i have both of those aswell. and i have a third type, that just uses a visual alarm system.
Mine goes on a full battery. Any advicev
Luke - MINI VOLTAGE ALARM QUESTION. if you see this. Please help. When I plug the mini in my fully charger LiPos it makes the alarm go off and only 2 lights are green. My actual reader says all cells are right under 4.3. Any suggestions?
Hey Luke, recently I bought one of these alarms from your shop, I love it, but the little button above the screen got bumped several times, now it activates at like 3.6v. Can I reset it?? Thanks!
@Will Reis Thank you so much!! I was worried that it was a one time thing, and I can't go back to the beginning of the range.
One time I forgot to remove a LCD alarm from a 2500 mAh battery left it in the garage when it started going off so didn’t hear it. It drained it to 0 by the morning. It was an official venom alarm too. The display drained below threshold and then the alarm killed it.
nice !!! how can i get this?
So when the voltage goes low there is no way to fix it like recharging the battery and also what makes the voltage go down
its a low power indicator, the voltage goes down when you use the battery
simply recharge the battery
When is the HIRmini coming? You said January but it’s may
Ok I forgot about her! Sorry to bother
What do u do when u hear the beep? Do u take out the battery from the gun
The beep serves as a warning. Best practice is to remove the battery if the LiPo alarm goes off.
@@outofdarts but then do u charge it or what
@@blade-fortniteshorts7663 Generally, you should keep it charged if you're using it regularly, but there's also storage charge to consider. We have much more detailed information in our LiPo charging video and in our LiPo safety page on our website. If you have any further questions please feel free to shoot us an email to orders@outofdarts.com.
I thought that loud scream when I plugged it in meant I did something wrong since I knew it was fully charged
Mosfets and pwm's. Also, fusion36 tutorial?
Does the iPhone record in less than 30 fps this looked a little choppy to me, although it could just be I'm getting used to 60fps computer games again but this seems really choppy
Outof Darts ok then it was absolutely just me getting used to other things, maybe I should cut down on my gaming and watch more nerf vids :)
I have a pvc hiricane running stock motors and a fang for the fan I am having feeding relibiity I think my battery isn't powerful enough any ideas for a better battery?
Outof Darts k thanks
lipo and IMR.. I use IMRs cause I just want to go play right away and not worry about the battery... But I'm away's thinking about, should I convert to Lipos
This.
not lipo alarms... how you use liops charger/store them/ what to do ect...
Same
Why do these need alarms, won’t the blaster stop when the battery is dead?
When LiPo batteries reach below a certain voltage, they change chemically, making them harder to recharge and lowering the lifespan of that battery. LiPo alarms let you know when to stop using that battery before that happens, so your batteries last longer.
Thanks just rewiref my strife and wanted to knoe how to use this.
So let's say you're outside firing a blaster that has a lipo and the alarm goes off. The video says to immediately stop using the battery. Does that mean the battery is ruined and you need a new one?
Hi! more detailed information about LiPo safety and LiPo alarms can be found here:

Hope this helps! -Intern Perry
no it means its low battery and needs to be charged
dual stage trigger
I got 2 things.
1. How to calculate total use time for a 3s 1 amp/hour 25 c Lipo powering 2 rhinos
2. If the total volts for a 3s is 11.1, that would only give me 4 volts of wiggle room before I have to recharge at 7.1 volts? I don't want any of the cells to drop below 3.2, so 7.1 just doesn't seem like a lot. Or can I push it all the way to 3.2 total volts in the entire battery?
I’m confused about this too. I have a 2s with a cap of 7.6, and my alarm screamed at me when each cell was below three, but total it was above 4. I have the one with screen and when it displayed total it didn’t scream, but when it showed each individual cell it screamed. Wouldn’t make sense to only be able to use with a 1.6 volt difference
@@Superkai66 the nerf mod sub reddit would probably be better for this I now realize
The 3s lipo max charge goes to 12.6v. Operation range for each cell is 4.2v to 3v. That would mean you can use it from 12.6v to 9v however for safety and life of the 3s lipo, you would stop using it when it gets to 10v or per cell 3.3v to have a buffer so it doesn't go below 3v per cell.
So this basically tells you when your battery is about to die or getting low?
yes
who to wire it all up lipo every think
Mandatory option, hehe.
How to use mosfet in stryfe please
Amar Asyraf czcams.com/video/oSXs3uJDz38/video.html
Am I meant to keep it plugged in during gameplay or just use it to check every now and then 🐡
plugged in during gameplay, forget about it until it beeps
I’ve tried two different Sony cameras, and never liked them, never again
Get that baby healthy!
Hi
I thought I needed to start charging my batteries at 11.1
building NIC brass breaches, please
nari lutra yos ples.
czcams.com/play/PLkZzviOnOHxFnVkQ3OlDtHQK7R69hknUT.html
wrong type of breach, im looking for the type that would be used on like a plus bow, or snap bow, or rainbow
nari lutra sorry. You mean a hopper breach?
yeah, and a full sealed brass breach for them, but not a longshot or retaliator breach, for now atleast
Wait what? Am I first? Huh.
