I think I got banned on the personal level. My account was hacked and they spent $200 on a campaign I later charged back. Whenever I launch a campaign now I get banned instantly. Is there anything I can do? Please help.

Hey Justin! I just tried to get my personal ID verified and when I click continue it appears the triple option: 1) Run ads for politics or social issues 2) to protect my account 3) None of the above.
So I tried like you said with Ads for politics and it says right after that "you should ONLY continue if you plan to run Ads for politics and social issues or access the ID library API"
Should I still continue with that? Or try with "protect my account" option?

@@JustinLalonde I tried uploading different ID's such as a passport, driving license and national id, all match my name and date of birth. They all keep getting rejected though. Why? My personal ad account has been suspended but the weird thing my page ad account still runs and spends money, I cannot turn off or do any changes to the ads, I'm losing money because of that. Facebook support not so helpful. Any suggestions please?
@@Drakr-cj3hv That's quite a unique scenario... I do have contacts and reps for clients, but we're talking thousands of $$ to fix such an issue through the ways I know without going directly through Meta themselves.
I'd suggest blocking FB from your credit card in the meantime as you are working through getting yourself ID verified.
@@JustinLalonde Thank you for the suggestion. After contacting meta for the 5th time, I figured it had something with me not verifying my backup credit card and getting "unusual activity". Even though I never used that card and always paid on time with my default card.
In order to remove that card it gave me a button to turn off all ads and then remove it in 72 hours after paying any balance. Which I did but it's still restricted.
Their system is weird.

This shouldn't be the cause of an ad account being shut down. We run ads for clients all around the world all the time. The issue is most likely elsewhere.
@@JustinLalondeThanks for your response! I meant disabled, not banned. Would the issue still be most likely elsewhere? Would it be a security issue? As my wifi changes but im still in the same country & city but different continent than my clients. I did verify my ID though as you suggested. But now I dont know if i should remove myself from the ad account and maybe my client will be able to get the account reinstated and then I can try again or run ads in a new ad account? What would you suggest? Than you again 🙏🏼😊
@@xstaticxem The issue still is elsewhere - This wouldn't ever affect an account's health!
I'd suggest either reaching out to Meta support or opening a new ad account.
@@JustinLalonde Thank you so much for your response Justin! 🙏🏼 Unfortunately Meta support wasn't very helpful - their response was that they were unable to verify the payment. Its the same payment method we've been using for months. And this happened directly after speaking to a tech - who out of the blue mentioned she was going to fix a pay restriction..long story - but i blame the tech. Anyway thanks again!! Will just start again in new account with the precautions you mentioned in your video. x
Someone told me I should use alt accounts to own the page and do ads, and then have the url and pixel in my own business manager. So if one gets banned you can change to the other. Idk about this but it seems some big ecom guys do it. They talk about buying pages / assets to do it. Lol.
They aren't wrong - We do this too. Best way to protect yourself, but way too complicated to explain to a beginner. Haha Hence why, on CZcams, I try to go "beginner-friendly".
