First Time in SPAIN (Bilbao & La Coruña on a Cruise)

- We have finally arrived in Spain!! After all these years we are ticking off this huge bucket list by exploring La Coruna and Bilbao on a cruise.

Our first port of call in Spain was hopping off at the cute little town of La Coruna where the sleepy village was closed for the day - we went for a walk up to the Tower of Hercules - an ancient roman lighthouse still being used thousands of years later.
Next up we headed to Bilbao where we tried our first Spanish tortilla (Spanish omelette) before heading off to to see Dragonstone from Game of Thrones aka Gaztelugatxe - an islet in the Basque countryside.
We then headed into the town of Bilbao to try some Spanish tapas for heading back onto the ship for some more relaxation.

Definitely anywhere the Moors were! Amazing mix of Islamic, Christian and Jewish history. Granada, Cordaba, Seville, Toledo...
Donostia (san sebastian in spanish) is really a cool place in Basque country wher the pintxos game is strong ;)
Come to the south! Córdoba, Sevilla, Granada ❤️

You have to come back to Galiza and visit the cathedral of Santiago de Compostela, the Costa da Morte (Coast of death), a breathtaking scenery, and then enjoy all the patrimonies of humanity we have like the beaches or other monuments 😍
Bilbao is one of the most amazing cities i have ever known.

Spain is probably my favorite European country. For me, the best way to experience it is to pick a city and just stay there for a while. Of course, you can also do some day trips out to nearby cities. I recommend the southern cities. Granada, Sevilla, Córdoba and my favorite is Ronda!

Did you really enjoy in Bilbao and Gaztelugatxe (Dragonstone)? Great, that zone in the north of Spain as you called is also known as Basque Country. You should come back when you can, there are lot of wonderful places more tu see

The Guggenheim museum in Bilbao is a must visit, I was in Spain earlier this month and I’ve never seen anything like it before.

MADRID IS A MUST...LOTS OF ROMAN ARCHITECTURE. ARANJUEZ, EL ESCORIAL.... (A SHORT DRIVE OR TRAIN RIDE AWAY) THE LIST GOES ON....ABSOLUTELY BEAUT. SO MUCH TO SEE AND DO. THE FOOD IN SPAIN IS DELICIOUS...SO MUCH VARIETY, VERY FRESH. SPAIN IS DEFO THE PLACE TO BE👍❤🇪🇦

Spain is my favorite country! I lived in Mallorca for 5 months and it is great to visit, lots of beautiful towns, great hiking trails and beautiful beaches. Another city I love in Spain is Sevilla.
Seville& Barcelona are beautiful cities
Mallorca has unreal beaches and stunning scenery if you come away from the tourist traps

Spain is on my bucket list since my first trip got cancelled back in 2015 was suppose to be a grad trip but someday I look forward to go there and explore all parts of Spain I can.
My first international trip was in this country and it is breathtaking.Besides Madrid and Barcelona,you guys should visit Sevilla(especially if you are got fans,visit Alcazar palace)such a pretty city with great food great people! You guys inspire me to see the world. Thank you.

If you are into art and are keen on having fun, then Madrid. There are also some gorgeous cities (Toledo, Segovia, Cuenca...), magnificent royal palaces (El Escorial, Aranjuez, La Granja... ) and awesome medieval castles (Turégano, Manzanares el Real, Cuéllar...) in the vicinity. But the most important thing is Madrid is a very entertaining and stimulating city.
San Sebastián is right down the road from Bilbao and gastronomic capital of pintxos!
Seville is a MUST!

In Seville they actually filmed something of game of thrones and Star Wars. It’s an amazing place. You should definitely do a tour on the south. It’s very different from the north, but still very charming

Barcelona! Sagrada Familia, Park Guell, Barcelona Cathedral (go up to the roof and walk along the roof!), take in a flamenco show, train to Montserrat! You'll love it!

Wow, the walk over the stone bridge to the church on the island hill is absolutely breathtaking! Spain has always been on our bucket list, and we really want to go to Barcelona and Madrid, but we’ll be on the lookout for Bilbao too now!

I recommend you go to the Canary Islands (Mostly Tenerife), Madrid, or the Balearic Islands
On the Canary Islands you can go to the Teide peak, Spain’s tallest mountain and ride Camels. It has a Moroccan theme to it.
On Madrid you can basically do whatever u want
On the Balearic islands visit the incredible beaches and nightlife

La Rioja has the most amazing wine, food, and bodega experiences! Sevilla is what everyone pictures Spain to be like, and Barcelona is just a one of a kind city. Those would be my top 3 but I love all of Spain!! I’ve been to every province 😊
