This is no remix or a new interpretation with other instruments, we only use the original music files with it's original samples in a modern studio setup to provide the best possible audio result - To archive this we recorded all channels independently, split them by instrument type and cleaned up the samples from digital distortion as good as possible. At last we mixed and finalized the music track with our studio gear by TC Electronic and Universal Audio. Hope you enjoy the result ! - Hry
The games artstyle combined with the superb music fuelled my imagination as a kid and created the whole universe in my head. It's still there and i love it! ;)
Same. Still gives me really strong vibes.
totally this
Wow, hello sister souls!
For this peace of music i took my sony cassettedeck to a friend of mine who had an Amiga and he helped me to record it onto tape 😉👍🏻
Holy shit - this is amazing. The attention was always on Beast 1 for music, but for me this game was where it was at.
Exactly fully agree. Amazing soundtrack
Great job, really enjoyed it
Thank you!
"Ten Pints"
even with cheats - there are some dead ends .. :-)
@@Naviaravideos the bath of acid was one i remember - if the guy pushing the spike wall at you managed to get to the rope
the crystal caverns music is my favorit part. I have chills each time I hear this part. Great Job ;)
Thank you!
SOTB2 soundtrack has a pretty unique vibe. This remaster sounds great and was not overdone. You can absolutely feel the love for the source material.
Thanks 🙏
That sounded so great! Thank you for remastering that wonderful number!
Thanks for listening, this remaster was a tough one !
one of the best compositions i've ever heard, it's been with me throughout my life! so well written
This is... amazing. Like hearing it the first time. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Thank you :-)
Gorgeous, atmospheric music! I spent many hours playing this game, eventually beat it too!
Tim Wright is a magnificament composer
You had me with subtle use of the delay on the lead line for the menu music. Excellent work!!
Interesting to hear the music 30 years later
Hated the game because it was so hard
Loved the music for being so perfect
Yes, they kill the gameplay because the level of dificult, the only one that was posible to finish was the 3 one...whatever i have an original copy of the game worth 200 euros now days in ebay.
Thank you for the time and effort in bringing this back to life for us all!
Thank you for stopping by.. :-)
This game used to give me nightmares as a kid.
Awesome job, sound and art ! thank you very much !!!
WOW @Naviaravideos considering Shadow Of The Beast 2 is actually my favourite out of all 3 of the Shadow Of The Beast games, I have to say you have really outdone yourself with this one, I am very impressed, you truly do have a gift with music maker and editing programs, I hope you don't mind?... but I gotta convert this to MP3 and add it to my retro games music list on my Ipod as this will be truly a great edition to the list in my retro games music I have on my ipod. =D
Thank you :-)
Love it well done 😊
Beautiful just beautiful
Awesome!!! Thank you!!!
Great and worthy .... did you remastering Turrican 2 , too ?
Thank you! Yes, I have done a remaster of the Turrican 2 title music - it is also in this Playlist:-)
nice samples nice remaster :)
Not a great game, but outstanding graphics and music- really showed off what the Amiga could do! Even today I can't believe how good the music was
Superb music. I wonder if anyone ever completed it without ‘ten pints’ - would be one tough game.
I never could beat it without the cheat.. but I am sure someone can do it with accurate timing…
I couldn't even complete it sober 😅
The game was still crazy difficult to beat with the cheat activated because you can get easily stuck in a few places if you're not super cautious
@@deceiver444 So true. I still remember the shell-shocked feeling of making it as far as the goblin cave and then getting stuck.
heads up E Bay has a new shadow of the beast 1 cd with all 3 beast songs on it
When Graphics were really *everything* and the amiga duked it out with SNES and MD.
The music to SOTB was composted by only one person which was David Whittaker and SOTB 2 and 3 was composted by 2 person and they are brothers Tim and Lee Wright
Right - I corrected the entry. Thanks for stopping by.
oh, and those 4 people who disliked should have their ears removed!
Does anyone know what instruments were typically used to produce Amiga songs? The sync lead sound during the cavern scene always sounded great to me, and was wondering what hardware / software was used to produce the source sound.
Most early Amiga spund samples comes from hardware synthesizers or romplers like Yamaha DX7, Korg Wavestation, Korg M1 or the Fairlight workstation and EMU romplers.
Is this available in FLAC anywhere? Maybe I missed it on the bandcamp page...
Thanks for listening... No, this version is not available fot download..
Pretty good...thought the melodic toms coulds have been louder at the 6 minute point. Only critque...other than that...fantastic!
Thanks :-)
I like how it screws up the puzzle and realizes it's completely fucked, so it just quits alltogether and just plays the music. Is incredible the amount of poor game design this game has, which is really sad because it had such a beautiful atmosphere and mood it should be a hidden gem. I still love it for what it is, despite its many flaws.
I agree with you, the visuals and music are great, the gameesign is not. You can easy run into dead ends, this should not happen. Even with unlimited energy cheat you have remember exactly what to do first and there is no room for mistakes.
It was far too hard in terms of never having enough health. But I personally liked the puzzles: the seemingly insignificant mistakes that caused you to be trapped forever was part of the overall 'serious' atmosphere.
Best part was the game over scene
aucun intéret , c'est plus mauvais que l'original
