  • @jasonbergeron6347

    Yes it is the best way to get to Key West until you have to pay all of Signatures FBO fees. My 182 is tri-colored lets tag on $300 more dollars to your stay.....oh and its white......thats an additional $100 bucks. Tricycle gear add another $50 for that...........Love going in my 182 but damn the fees they charge. Someone needs to put in another Mom and Pop FBO for GA planes to compete with them.

    • @petejones4808
      @petejones4808 Před 3 lety +1

      The APR button puts the autopilot into ‘approach’ mode. I suspect as soon as they took off they were flying an approach procedure in to Key West. Longer flights the autopilot is in ‘NAV’ mode for most of the route and approach mode is selected near the end of the flight at the beginning of the approach. There’s a few other modes as well.

    • @kmlammto
      @kmlammto Před 3 lety

      Wikipedia’s R-NAV entry says: Area navigation is a method of instrument flight rules navigation that allows an aircraft to choose any course within a network of navigation beacons, rather than navigate directly to and from the beacons. This can conserve flight distance, reduce congestion, and allow flights into airports without beacons.
