  • Imagine traveling on a train that is faster than an airplane! Well, this is no longer a dream. This has become a reality!
The new Maglev Railway train in China has recently achieved an insane speed of 1,000 kilometers per hour in its latest test, allowing commuters to travel from Shanghai to Hangzhou in just nine minutes.
That is a distance traveled through a 150-kilometer-long tunnel, which is insane and unheard of. Just imagine being able to travel between all the major cities in your country in just under 10 minutes - that’s what’s happening in China right now!

Meanwhile America is falling back to stone age while people shooting guns to each other and dies. China will always be no 1 because Chinese people are better, smarter, and hard working and value peace, while the US values war and violence. China wll reclaim our top spot in the world as we've always been no 1 for 5000 years.

I visited China recently. We disembarked in Shanghai and took this type of train from Shanghai to Pudong International Airport for experience sake. The distance travelled was approx 30 km and it took us 8/9 minutes to reach the Airport. The highest speed attained during this short journey was 301km/hr. I was amazed. Now avaition has to compete with thid form of transport in future...esp in vast countries like China, Australia, Europe, Canada, etc. Something furture generations will benefir and enjoy.....

Wow, China has developed the new maglev trains with a speed of 1000km/hr which surpasses the Japanese maglev technology. The hyperloop trains are much safer than aircraft and definitely more cost effective. China has already tested the super maglev trains at a speed of 4000km/hr which is multiple times faster than any Boeing aircraft. A new age of traveling by supersonic train has come and it will start in China.

@@user-ob5ht7vl3d the hyperloop trains concept is much safer than air vehicle concept and without doubt it will be more popular for long range straight line city to city transportation. In fact a hyperloop concept is probably easier to build than an aircraft with the same passengers capacity. A supersonic hyperloop train can be built since the tube in which it operates can be made vacuum. With a rocket engine the hyperloop train can reach mach 2 easily. This will be the future transportation in the world.

Hypersonic must be at least 6,180 km/h (Mach 5) - 5x Supersonic speed
This train is 1000 km/h, so it’s not even Supersonic, let along Hypersonic… it’s does qualify to be Transonic, which is not very common term…
If it was hypersonic, it would melt away from air resistance. It would also create plasma shell around it that blocks radio waves.

I'm all in for new technology but what are your sources? All I can find about it is, that it was at least faster than their last record with 623km/h (no specific speed was mentioned) and that it was reached in an only 2km short tube. Nothing more. That's basically nothing since there is no proof apparently.
It's just fancy CGI which is worthless and the maglev train leaving a depo. All the other pictures here are from either other high-speed rail or the Japan-maglev.
Also how is this supposed to be more economic than planes at such high speeds? The faster you go, the more energy you need to the square. Even in vac-tubes. Sure, you need less since there will be low air-resistance but going 1000km/h still takes tons of energy. Not to mention 4000km/h.
And just like you said the tracks need to be really strait, so you probably have to dig tunnels (just like Japan is doing it for their maglev) which are really expansive. And even if you build it above ground, you need massive amounts of steel for the tubes, still massive amounts of concrete for the foundations of the track, massive amounts of energy for the vacuum pumps and all that produces massive amounts of pollution.
And btw humans can even breath easily during light speed travel. It's the acceleration that's important and I think you wouldn't want to sit in that train when it accelerates to at least 600km/h within 1km. The G-Forces wouldn't be pleasant
