It's a common problem on YT- basically scammers take the profile pic of the people who make videos, post a phoney comment like it's from the people in the video and take people's money and personal info. Lol ok, I think its only fair to give all the people who are potentially excited right now a heads up, many of these are extremely rare variants of extremely common, essentially valueless stamp. The 2 Cent carmine and 5 Cent blue Washingtons for instance are ussually worth well under a dollar, and about. 05 used, its essentially hitting the lottery finding one thats worth anything close to the prices quoted.

I just read your comment about having some of these stamps. I don't what to be a wet blanket but all but two of the stamps he shown are ultra rare. Three of them The 24 cent inverted Jenni the 5 cent brown Garfield and the 20 cent state are all accounted for . There are 87 jennis 85 of them are in collection the last two were stolen at a stamp shown in the 1980s. The Garfield was a special run because of his death. The state stamp had a limited run because of its high denomination for the time. 180 year ago . Now here's a little good news. If your collection has the the 1893 Columbus set from the one cent to $5 stamp. You have 1901 pan American set of six stamps in unused condition. Or the 1929 Kansas or Nebraska over prints in mint condition and finally if you have the 1910 complete washington Franklin set. These stamps are worth about 7 thousand dollars.

Ebay. People are selling stamps at stupid prices, or it appears they are. I found a few that are going for thousands, although I doubt they're actually worth that much. Give as much info as poss & take really clear good pics, and I suggest looking at what others are charging for the same items. Also be aware that people buy their own items in order to resell them at higher prices, & some #s you're going to see are stupid high. Best luck

Did you use the actual photo for the Jefferson 2 cents? I think the upper corners are missing some graphics as the ones without the angled triangles like you show were more common I thought. If that's not the case I have many without and only one with. Can't learn without actual photos of what to look for unfortunately.

I have well over 100 mint nh 3 cent George Washington stamps shown in your video and would like to see if I have anything worth while. Time to update the audio, and instead of just showing a 3 cent washington, insert the Scott # so we can find more information about the stamp. Also the latest price for a Curtis Jenney Invert was around 1.3 million dollars.

Since the difference between the normal stamp and special printing varies with the issue that was reprinted, the way to know the difference is to refer a catalog of United States stamps. Scott catalogs are the standard catalogs used by most collectors in the US and they are probably the best reference to look at.

Almost ALL of these Arbitrary Valuations are for errors. The Shyster portion of this video is that he doesn't actually tell you WHY they sold for that at auction. Other than the Inverted MISS prints (which are obvious) nearly ALL you could buy at face value until recently. Mostly due to a number of simple facts. Rarity because since the 1980s Stamp collecting has gone the way of the Dodo, and even GREAT collections have suffered over the years due to lack of interest! I can remember pretty much completing my boyhood collection in the middle to late 80's with almost ALL unhinged MINT at face value prices! Yeah, that means those 2 in the opening valued at 100 and 2400, I got them for 2 and 5 cents each MINT unhinged. Yeah, no dealer on the planet would pay $2200 unless I had forced him at gun point! Another thing that he doesn't tell you - "The Holy Grail" Inverted Jenny, Only 1 has ever been confirmed as Genuine.
Any of these idiotic CZcams videos that show no references, no expertise, etc... can very easily be used to put bs values on things they're about to sell on eBay. Too many scammers out there. Listen to expert dealers. Not morons that use the words, "crazzzzy money!" This is almost insulting.

Find a reputable auction house, or someone who can certify them. It sounds too good to be true for you to have all of them. I'd be interested to hear how it goes. I have a friend who bought stamps as an investment and I'm not sure selling will work like he expects. Keep us updated please.
