I restarted today and I started to try to decorate as well. You have given me ideas! I was thinking about moving the houses to the meadow area but I wasn't quite sure if I'd like that or not. Right now I'm just trying to organize all the bushes and pathways. I don't like that they were messy or all around.

Awesome video!! I was so upset today bc I started doing paths with the small rocks & halfway thru I learned thereâs an item limit đđ but you video made me confident I can make it work!!
What? So how do we decorate if we can't use enough rocks?
@@jasminlawrence turns out the rocks werenât the problem. Thereâs a glitch in the game where holes you dig are counting towards the object limit. Once I removed the empty holes I dug I was able to continue decorating. And it looks like it wasnât fixed in this update either :/

One word of advice if I may. When showing your island, please try and lower the amount of jerking the camera back and forth. I loved this video and your island but it was hard for me to watch because of the fast back and forth movements if the camera.

Nope! I actually pick up less because thereâs no ground space haha (in the plaza) you can only have 20 branches on the floor in one biome at a time!

sorry if i missed you explaining in video but do you ever have to worry about hitting max items? I dont see the number go up when you place the rocks. do they not count that to the - - -/600 number? Thanks!!
Hi! The items you don't buy don't count towards item count :)
I think sometimes it matters about the biome. Like, anything that says a biome, I made sure to use the meadow rock in the meadow biome. Plaza Hedge in the Plaza. That way, if I did want to use a palm tree from dazzle beach in the plaza, it wouldn't be that bad
Are you still able to find snd reach enough stuff? Sticks flowers herbs etc? I am so scared of stuffing my places but i would love to decorate
Yeah! I purposely leave space open for the rock spots and put items I can walk through around the naturey bits. And flowers will still spawn as long as you use ones from a different biome. Otherwise just leave some ground space and everything will still spawn!
Whatâs odd is I find ACNH so much easier to decorate in.
Same, but perhaps itâs easier to those who uses PC⊠with Nintendo switch to pick up items is already difficult đ
Lol itâs all a matter of perspective! This game is difficult for controller players, but as an avid PC gamer I find this a lot easier!

Do you use a mouse and keyboard? If so, how? I am trying to figure out how to play on my PC when I am not able to play on my Xbox One.
you can plug your xbox controller into your pc and it should work just fine with dreamlight valley :)

I got it from scrooges, it was pure luck. You have to have your shop fully upgraded though! It only comes in the back.
It's hard to decorate whenScrooge sells the same items everyday đ
