Colt, great video. I’ll say this, you mentioned you wanted to be better than other reviewers, well you have successfully done that, with every video I’ve seen of yours. Anyone that doesn’t agree should just…..well f*** all the way off. As far as looking for deer on levees, well just “shoot better” that way you don’t have to track them at night with these new lights 😏. I’ve tracked a few at night myself next door in MS.

Can't wait to get my wide beams for my lexus. The original fogs are completely useless and also look ugly, and i never turn them on because of that, so these morimotos are gonna make those night shifts way more fun and safe.
I have the 4 bangers and they dominate BD and DD also. Finally someone showing the power of Morimoto. I swapped out all my DD for morimoto 2 bangers, 4 bangers and soon big bangers.

This is coming from someone who owns both Rigid and Morimoto lights everywhere. I’ve had zero problems with my Rigid lights and several with the Morimoto head and tail lights. Hopefully they’ll hold up over time. I’m not a Rigid fanboy at all (I’m running a RC 30” curved bar ) but they make some quality stuff and stand behind their product.
My rigids were great brother. And to be honest I ain’t had. A lick of problems out of my rough country either! Got one on the ranger. 🇺🇸🦅🇺🇸

Love the truck and the light!!! I just won’t spend money on expensive lights, I just buy cheap ones that work great and I don’t have to worry about. I camp and leave my truck alone a lot, there are people stealing them all the time. Hell, they just cut the bumper or light bar and wires in seconds.

Is it just me or are the “flood” lights actually two completely different beam patterns? The Rigid looks like a flood (similar verticals snd horizontal throw) whereas the Morimoto look like an SAE Fog (shallow vertical throw, clean cutoff for street legal use and very wide horizontal).
You are prob right. I do know both just said flood and both were DOT approved for on road use. But your point makes sense. 🇺🇸🦅🇺🇸

Love the morrimoto's got a pair of the HXB's fogs free on a promo with headlights, now waiting on a set of the big bangers i ordered on black friday. I also have some of the rough country black series behind my grill, can barely tell they are there and blend in real nice. I get excited like a little kid too doing all this stuff, spent around 22k in mods so far lol

@@COLTSWAY Will do, they keep getting delayed, as of now they say end of april. I'll keep an eye on your 2banger video, was considering those as well, like the low profile. Love doing the work myself too, think Im going to do a restomod on a truck from 70s-80s next, and just keep forever as a 2nd vehicle. Do not have much experience on engines/drivetrains, but love to learn. Never ends lol Great channel!

I got the tail lights, 3rd break light and turn signals from them; however, if I knew they were made in China I would have never purchased them. For that premium price tag; It is very disappointing. I try to buy everything that’s made in the USA even my Cooper tires.

That looks, good buddy. I bought the Morimoto hybrids headlight for my 2011 because I didn't see the value of the big boy headlights @1599 so I went cheap and paid 989 for the hybrids. Im hear to tell you SUBs do not go cheap, by the headlights with the three projectors. I see the value now. unfortunately, they will not do a return just because I didn't like the light output. Morimoto is also a hard place to get someone on the phone. been a month and still haven't returned my call. No, I'm not a troll or a dick on the phone. Get more done with a beer than stupid anger lol I think that get more with honey than stupidity. lol. Latays for everyone.

I appreciate your video. Those 4 bangers do look sweet on level ground. However, I live in a mountainous area. I'm afraid that long level beam of the 4 bangers would be lost going up and down the step hills around here. You did point out how the rigids have more up and down light than the bangers. That up and down light is very useful in extreme hilly areas. Maybe you could make another video in a more hilly area and prove me wrong!

I think they have a bracket for two lights to fit…but you could always get the combo ones. Spot and flood together. 🇺🇸🦅🇺🇸

Loved the video, but on the 2 light sets, I would run not sets of fog and spot as they would give you the best config as on has wider beams than the other, so best of both worlds with both sets ran together, keep up the good work mate

@@COLTSWAY Just found out...if you order these from Morimoto for use as fogs, you get the housing for your specific car and the bangers will come with the OEM plug and play fog clip, so you don't need to buy the wire.
Great Vid. Thank you for your time. I’m just now getting to know a little about Morimoto. Are they any models of the the 4 banger or 2 banger lights have the cool yellow DRL option? I see online the big banger has a yellow back light that has a low and high setting for dusk and daytime driving. I think that is awesome. I’m in process of adding some lights to my 1999 Jeep TJ Sahara and want to start with a hood mounted light bar. I love the adjustability and the slimness of the 2 and especially the 4 banger and the slim design. . I just hope those two models have a drl or yellow backlight option ??? If so can you include a link. Thank you.

A relay is just an electrically operated switch. Basically what happens is that small wiring and a small switch in the dash or wherever are used to turn on/off a bigger switch (the relay) that can handle lots of amps and has big wires running to and from it. I am not sure if the amp draw on these lights but it might not be needed if the wires are big enough and the amps low enough. Prob could get away without it. 🇺🇸🦅🇺🇸
MM is a better value but there are less quantifiable qualities I like with the rigid. It's a more natural spectrum

Could deff adjust the dogs. But the headlights are perfect. Been in truck 7 months and ever got flashed one time. Flashed everyday with my stock halogens. Driver side is supposed to be a tad lower then passenger. Reason being if your behind the car in front of you your lights won’t be blinding them in their driver side mirror. But I def could bring it up a tad more and get her closer to level! 🇺🇸🦅🇺🇸
