I can't tell you how many game tournaments I've been to where there isn't at least one guy who reeks of unwashed rot, feces, and cheetos dust for every other ten who shower and deodorize like normal human beings. Its not just dudes either, I've met women who are just as bad (thankfully not too many). But there is a reason this stereotype exists.

I attended a Smash tournament in Vancouver years ago with a couple of buddies and remember distinctly a guy with a freezer bag full of peeled hard boiled eggs stuffed into his backpack and would eat a couple between matches.
i love the fact that the monster disguise himself as a gamer/geek fan so he can find a bunch of stinking people in gaming clubs, it's a great touch

Someone make this a live action, this is a classic and authentic horror genre worthy of bigger production.
I like how watching this, each scene has a different speed for what’s happening. When it’s either showing a setting or building tension, everything moves easily and slow. And later on in actions scenes, it looks more loose and fluent. It really helps to make each part feel different

Those maggots he was eating are called botfly’s and they are actually real. I believe you get them in South America. An infested mosquito will land on you and the botfly eggs will drop onto your skin and as they hatch they eat your flesh and burrow into you. They are about the size of a quarter. There are plenty of videos on botfly removal.

I know I'm late to this and maybe someone already said this, but I have a theory. I think the monster actually targets these kids by knowing where to supply the mountain dew type drinks that we see in the video. The monster knows that smelly gamer kids are the ones who mostly buy them, so the monster just has to see which kids buy them. I only think this because the last shot of the video shows a mountain dew truck outside the gaming place, which most likely means that the monster stepped outside and immediately kidnapped the kid by forcing him into the van, which the monster uses to drive around and sell the mountain dew to kids.

The worst part is those worms are real. They are called mango worms and there are videos on CZcams where they are removing dozens/hundreds these from unfortunate dogs, and they leave craters in the skin just like shown in this video.
