It should work with variable products, but not based on different attributes

Hi,
Is it possible to hack WC product thumbnail, in Admin - Product page, so that on hover, it shows larger image, as a popup layer?
I am able to change it via css but then, it affects all the items in the list/table, the whole page looks long and requires almost endless scrolling.

I don't use plugin for it. In the video I showed two ways to see the hooks locations:
1. Businessbloomer.com visual hooks guide (google it)
2. If you're using the Blocksy theme, then it has a built-in visual hooks guide
