Its great that mechanics from the older games are returning.
The slinger from world, the mounts from Rise and even the Extreme Style combat from Frontier, Wilds feels like it will be huge.
I feel that its gonna be wild
I feel like Capcom is actually listening what the MH community are saying. Really looking forward to the combat mechanics!

The new Blacksmith, and the Handler are 10/10.
Palico's always had the ability to speak, this is just the first time we're hearing their voice in the mainline games.
Oh could they? I always assumed our hunter just learned how to speak cat 😅
I mean
They always talked to us ever since the first game with the chef comrades
In the Kitchen with Freedom
The farm with Fredom Unite
The cat smith in Portable 3rd
Our Palicos in GU and World are always talking during the fights
Wilds just added voice acting
omg this actually makes sense! Though I'll miss hearing the meows...
@thehungrygamers There probably an option to turn on Wyverian dub. Which basically makes all of them sounds exactly how it was before voiced dubs were added. The people will use words that kinda sound gibberish to us and the cat will just meow as usual.

I got so hyped that I immediately launched World after taking a break from it for several months. And the music is so good too, I can't wait to listen to the OST. 2025 can't arrive sooner!

Some key points:
0:34 this character is Gemma. Some people theorize that she's actually little Miss forge from mh4u with how similar her hairstyle, band, and even the goggles to little Miss forge. We have yet to confirm it but it sounds true
0:39 this one is Alma. Ngl tho, she actually looks like the world handler in her 30s. This one is also yet to confirm
1:30 new game mechanics introducing the hook slinger. You can use it to get slinger ammos from a distance. This one will be so very helpful I'm sure of it
1:43 if you look closely, there's a snake-like creature diving underground as the monsters are getting swallowed by the sand. New monster probably
2:15 new dodging mechanic where you'll get swept up by seikret to safety. Seikret is the name of the monster our hunter is riding
2:24 another mechanic (probably a gimmick) where you can switch out to another weapon on the go, without needing to go back to camp. Also the mounted combat!! That's insane
2:49 the guild master. He actually looks like the ace lancer from mh4u. Are we getting another returning character in this game?!
3:01 and finally! The new counter attack move of great sword! They actually made it longsword 2.0 and I'm all here for it!!!

The face Katsu made when Gemma was onscreen was hilarious but don't blame her in the slightest 😂😂 she gives Minayle vibes
I was surprised on the realistic look they're going for lol! Though it makes sense since Wilds is pretty much MHW2.

Somewhere on a Monster Hunter Facebook group I’m in, I called it that the cute girl with the glasses was the handler. She’s so cute! There was also a baby pukei pukei in there if u saw it.
I still have to find that baby pukei, everyone's talking about it lol!
If she's the Handler, she is infinitely better than the Handler we get from MHW.
This game is already looking tasty.

Those greatsword moves were crispy af! And yeah, characters look a little too realistic for me. I prefer the anime look from Rise/Sunbreak.
I need to see what they've done to the swax please and thank you Capcom! But yes both Andy and I agree that the look is a bit too realistic. The anime look they've used in Sunbreak and previous games can make the game less serious and the silliness MH has sometimes still make sense.
I don't know if you've had the opportunity to play 4U but it's very likely that the blonde woman present at the start of the trailer is in fact a character from 4U. It's really nice to see old characters who have grown up again. Plus the fact that the game seems to have a real story about this child and that our characters are finally talking definitely makes things more interesting. In short, I can't wait to see more but I can't wait even more to be in 2025🔥🔥🤩

Yep, they can talk. Well, they can always talk but this is the first time we're hearing their voices.
