So how do you feel about the state of the CB in MHXX? Have the new Hunter Arts and the new Brave Style helped the CB return to the glorious heights of the CB in MH4U? Or is it still weaker in comparison?
Hey Rainy, I remember you saying you weren't a Japanese player. Why do you put moon runes in your vid titles? Also, that new hunter art looks kinda ridiculous. And, why not use Hellblade CB? Is it finally not "the best."
Team Jhammy Hellblade Weapons across the board are no longer the best. With Raw Value getting as high as they are on top if crit meta being even stronger Hellblade Weapons are simply "good" weapons.
Honestly is there a reason not to? it's easier for people to find if it's both in ENG and JP. Hellblade is mediocre 'cause blast is ass with G rank HP.
but how does he do impact damage with it? i just tried it. it only does a regular slash without any impact. and how do you aim with elemental discharge ( a+x ) while your shield is red?

Dai Taizo I may not use CB as many as you did back in 4U, but i think I'm more happy about the new CB mechanics on Gen compared to 4U.. and yeah I've hunted monsters too in Grank using CB in MHXX. (I did miss 4U's mechanic too, though)

But i just have the feeling of cb being in incomplete weapon and I mean ig was nerfed as well but the main mechanics are still the same so I don't know why they didn't nerfed the attacks instead of a new design but well
Dai Taizo Charge Blade now has 3 Different "guard points" if you will (indicated by the white flash) in MHGen. The roundhouse slash, traditional GP and the lunging slash, which means the CB has a lot more defensive options now than the previous installment

CB is still a worse GS. it won't go back to it's former glory unless capcom gives it good counter attacks.

After you did the a+x input, you need to orient your directional pad in the opposite direction your hunter is facing while mashing x.

press X after a phial-charge (R+A), it will work only if a charge occur..

You need a Impact phial CB with red shield for part 1. not sure for part 2.
