    No. It'll come down imo to how tough the trench guys are on both sides of the ball. If they're tougher there, they can win the Super Bowl
    Your better point on Nick is to ask if the Chiefs' O Line injuries vs the Bucs mattered ? If he says yes, he's a hypocritical homer lol

      It's funny how that matter till it comes to Tua then it's just can he get it done. Dude had the 31st pass win rate as well as having to get ride of the ball in less than 2.5 seconds and yet he did it in 2.25 consistently. People say he can't go thro his reads but that's cause 2.5 isn't enough time to go to your 2nd and 3rd reads.

      And a lucky ass touchdown in the end zone off of a tipped ball that was a miracle.... Technically even though the dolphins did not play their best at all in that game they would have been up one score when it was all said and done.... And secured home field and the AFC east.

    Tua’s has already proven he can make all the throws. It’s not just about Tua, Mike McDaniel needs better game day strategies. They weren’t getting play calls in on time, they were too Tyreek Hill dependent. There were no halftime adjustments. We can’t put only the loses on Tua, it’s a team sport. They need to spread the ball around. Thankfully we have a proper TE and proper WR3 now. That should make all the difference.

  • @bigmrclean

    Funny, the first time we played Buffalo last year, we had all those players….and what happened? We got blown out. I don’t care who you would’ve brought back versus KC or Buffalo. We are not in their league mainly due to the position that is our weakest link. The QB position. Patrick Mahomes got 10 drops a game, still won the Super Bowl. Who cares that his stats weren’t off the charts. Whoopy doooo. Who won? They did, and that ring is all that matters. He can pick the team up on his back and carry them. Tua can’t and never will be able to. Thinking he can, you’re not even in reality. Josh Allen turned the ball over 3 times trying to give us the game. Still beat us because our QB threw a ball to someone doubled that wasn’t even a viable option if Buffalo wasn’t even on the field. Stop with the injuries excuses. In December everybody’s hurt. Blah blah blah excuse excuses. We got our butt whipped and embarrassed end of story. Will probably be a repeat this year.

    I know I’ve commented a lot so far btw but I do appreciate you doing this. Loved the video. The reason people like Nick Wright won’t come off his Tua take is because people like him were wrong about Tua at the start of his career so when Tua started playing well it made them look foolish. They try to hang on to any little thing now to discredit him in order to make their old takes seem legit. Nick was actually coming around on Tua until Brock Purdy came to fame and when that happened he started pinning Tua to Purdy when they don’t even play the same way but again he warped his mind to thinking that because it’s a Shanahan offense it must be McDaniel and Tyreek making Tua look good and so his hatred for him started again.

    • @jermainereese6848
      @jermainereese6848 Před měsícem

      I agree with Nick not believing tua is an elite QB. The guy can not make every throw. Everyone see that he can’t get to his 2 progression. I’m moving on from tua as soon as I can. And I felt this way from the time he was drafted haven’t seen much of a change. Since.

To sit there and pretend he didn’t play subpar and lose to 6 out of 7 playoff caliber teams last year and it comes down to the cold weather game against the Chiefs is absurd. We’re going to pretend as if they were winning games abased on their defense and not their offense? Who were all predominantly available in those games they loss once November came around. The dolphins had a five game lead for the division!!! And let the bills creep back and snatch it from them like they were kids in the playground getting bullied by adults. It’s okay to admit Tua is a Good QB, but he’s not elite. It’s okay to admit that he’s not one of the top 5-8 guys in the league. He’s a top 10 guy, witty McDaniel and the weapons he has. Just saying but ya'll had the worst line (32nd in the league) in 2021(?) I believe and don't think it's gotten much better since then which is terrible. Tua's stats skyrocketed to the pinpoint top of the league when he got Hill, but you could see that coming because any true #1 receiver would have put him up there when you consider before that we can't even name the receivers he did have (or can you?). Give him a line thats ranked in the top half of the league and I think he can produce similar numbers even missing either Hill/Waddle.

    The Dolphins quick, inside passing game sets up too many opportunities for receivers to get injured. When lower caliber NFL players are forced to play against mid to upper echelon players, inferior talent has to over-exert/extend themselves, try shortcuts and other tricks to compensate. That explains their always banged up O line. Grier just can't figure out what makes a good offensive lineman. Same way he is clueless in evaluating LBs; drafts Charles Harris over fans unanimous pick TJ White, I mean Watt, but you get the hint. Drafts the speedy, black Channing Tindall over the clearly superior Leo Chenal, then doubles down keeping bench warmer Tindall and allowing the very white super playmaker Andrew Van Ginkle to walk in free agency, a man far superior at his position than the poor route running, ball dropping, always injured, speedy, black receiver, Jaylen Waddle, whom Grier opened the vault for and paid a ridiculous ransom. One early injury and he might find himself getting lost back on the depth chart never seeing the field in 2024-25. Should have dangled him at the trade deadline last year. We wouldn't miss him. O line, O line, O line. Run, run, run the ball.

    You’re so wrong about the Josh Allen thing btw. He was not the reason they won that game. At the end he had clutch moments yes but if it wasn’t for the special teams injury when the score was 14-7 Josh Allen would have pooped the bed. When it got to 14-14 and Tyreek came out the game and all he had out there was Achane in the backfield and no receivers that’s when we failed in that game.

      I understand what you’re saying. But when the game mattered most, Josh Allen put that team on his back. And it ended up being the difference. He took the game in his own hands.

      @hinata365247 For one. Chiefs won super bowl before tyreek left so let's not compare chiefs to bills. For 2, Josh Allen is NOT mahomes 😂. Stop it. For 3, the entire afc got better while the bills only got worse and lost key players on defense. It's fair to write em off

    So 2 separate arguments you made here. 1 i really like being if Miami wasn't injured they had a better shot at home field which. For sure killed them being a wildcard.
    The other argument though of the wild card game being close enough holds no water. That game by score, stats and eye test was not remotely close. They were outclassed across the board.
