It might have actually been before that, when he and his friends pioneered hang gliding in Aspen, Colorado, and then later in Torrey Pines. My dad built his first glider by hand. There's some very famous footage of him and a remote control plane having a mid-air meeting. Anyway, I'm just gushing. He's as cool as he seems, and as real as he seems, and I've never met another like him. Keep telling him he needs his own CZcams channel. Anyway, if you ever need anything, I've been on CZcams teaching art for 10 years. At the very least, I know where they hide the forms and other fun CZcams cookies. I hope you're great. Have a wonderful ride and thank you for giving my dad such a wonderful memory, one of many that he has but I know he treasures this one

As a retired hardcore dirt biker I’m amazed and applaud your skill and big hairy cajones , I’m also very impressed with the 85 year old OG on the electric dirt bike .

85 years Young man, not only still riding but embracing electric dirt/trails bike is awesome. I know that many hate on electric bikes, but they do bring some people into riding and help keep some older riders on 2 wheels.

I haven't ridden Slick Rock, but I've been to Moab a number of times so have at least a passing familiarity with some of trails there. I honestly can't believe that you just casually rode through a good portion of that trail, without a front brake even! When you came to that first hot tub, I said out loud "There's no way!" and yet you blasted through it like it was nothing. Dude... To say I'm impressed with your riding skill is an understatement. Can't wait to see what Piggy can do out there!

I saw you guys unloading the busa on Saturday afternoon and wanted to watch you guys ride, but left before you were ready. I rode Hell's Revenge Sunday morning and saw the busa at the bottom of Hell's Gate and laughed for a good 5 minutes, it made my morning! Hope you got it out and can't wait for more!
I've climbed Hell's gate on a motorcycle many times and I can safely say that you have balls of steel to be given the Hayabusa full throttle up that hill.
This is one of the most dangerous things that I have seen a person do and that also on a Hayabusa no less, Matt does it all while smiling like it is not something to be afraid of.
I rode Slickrock and Hell's Revenge, and hit Mickey's hot tub, on an actual dirt bike. I could not imagine doing it on this. Every time I think I'm getting good on my bike I come back to this channel to remind myself I still have a long way to go.
The KX 500 I rode there with "The Colberr" (several years back) was not NEARLY as ill-equipped as Yr. 'busa; but the clutch lever broke while performing "wheelie mitigation", and I had to send 'er off a CLIFF!! (bike didn't get hurt beyond that...but my 60 year-young body certainly did!) Was one of my best rides EVER, nevertheless! Stay FUN!!
