I have arrived in Idaho and stay at my brothers house (Jimmy Chin's old place) and spend a beautiful week full of skiing, playing in the snow, shooting film and contemplating the past year of my life. I start to figure out how I can make 2020 a year of freedom by listening to my intuition and following my gut.

Your video made me cry. It's so beautiful to see you and your brother together, it really made me realize how the loss of one of my sons may have impacted his brother, ,my eldest son. Ty loves the outdoors too, he's a backcountry guide here in the mountains of BC. He has never been able to do the things he loves with his younger brother as addiction took his life over, and we lost him far before he died. I've been grieving and didn't even notice how it must be for Ty, he's strong, he doesn't talk about feelings. Thank you for this intimate look at love between brothers, it's going to help me help him. You wanted to impact people, and you have. I'll look forward to seeing what you do with your one beautiful life.

What a pleasant surprise to wake up to this morning, it's 10 a.m. Alaska time, having pork steak topped with 2 eggs sunny side up fried potatoes and a cup of New England coffee. The snow is half way up my picture window and the sun came out about an hour ago. What a beautiful day to wake up to. I enjoy photography a lot, I'm not a professional but, I seem to have an eye for it, some would say. As you were skiing, I noticed some neat cloud formations and clouds are one of my favorite things to photograph. At 72, I enjoy snowboarding in the back country, that and photography keep me young. You sir, are an amazement, how you capture things in life and narrate them, you are truly gifted. Thanks for sharing

@@TroutandCoffee Good morning Kyle, this morning, I'm taking my dog Spots to town for breakfast, he's a Karelian Bear dog. I am using a Nikon Coolpix with a wide 26" zoom. Not really special but, I do get some very cool shots with it. Town is about an hour away. Mount Denali is 3 hrs. away but, I can see it clearly from my cabin area here in Willow. I live in the Home of the World famous Iditarod Sled Dog Race, many of the to mushers are my neighbors. It's a great life in off grid Alaska. Time to go check out your recent video.
