I honestly watch Pretty Woman at least 30 times. I haven’t seen it in a few years, so I guess I better watch it again!!!
I was a live model in Japan back in the late 80's and early 90's. One job I did, I dressed up to the 9's and was paid to wear jewelry and walk around all day in a fancy department store opening. The ruby necklace was made by Fred's. That very piece was there in display, but no model. I got to put it on for 2 minutes, and then it got locked up in a display case. I instead wore other Fred's and Graff Industries jewelry for the day. I felt like a princess!
Richard Gere and Julia Roberts are the best of the best tandems to grace the Hollywood scene. Pretty Woman showcased not only their brilliant chemistry but their acting talent as well. Thanks to its brilliant director. I don't tire watching it. Never mind the tiny booboos. It's always a heart-touching experience everytime I watch it.

The red dress was for the opera and the black dress was worn on their first date where they went out to dinner. Notice the black dress has a choker type neck like...no room for the impressive necklace that was worn with the red dress.

She wore the black dress to the first dinner they had. The red dress was for the opera. Edward never spoke to his ex wife on the phone. He spoke to his current girlfriend. They got some things wrong in this video. But, there were interesting tidbits in here as well.

Unfortunatly LA and Beverly Hills does not look the same anymore as was portrayed in the film. Businesses are leaving in droves and it's turning into a ghost town.

I loved this movie. One of my favorites was when she had his credit cards to go shopping with and, she was in her hooker clothes and, got the boot at the boutique. Then the next day went back to the same shop she was kicked out of to rube it in their faces the commission they lost out on.
Here and, Robberts were the perfect couple for this movie and, that red dress to die for.. my daughter had her senior prom that year and, I made her gown in red. I just wished I had a pattern for the one in the movie.
In my next life I am coming back to marry Richard Gere, what a hunk❤.

There may have been other actors vying for these roles, but I am so very glad that the roles went to Julia Roberts and Richard Gere. Those two have such chemistry and act so well together that make the magic of a timeless classic. We need more movies like this!!
