I know the one in MK8 was a stretch but it was the best shortcut the game had to offer. Nothing in MKDS comes close to being an Ultra Shortcut.

Anyone else remember that almost everyone picked Maka Wuhu online JUST because of the ultra shortcut? Pre-patch there was always at least one guy that picked it... and if it did you pretty much HAD to do the ultra to stand any chance of getting 1st because almost everyone would do it too.
Yes! The first time I went online, I was like, "Why is everyone picking Maka Wuhu?" I hadn't known about the ultra shortcut yet until I saw videos in my recommended on CZcams

It’s a pretty good game all things considered.
On mario kart wii you missed:
-Mario's circuit (using a shroom and a wheelie on one of the trees
-Bowser's castle using a shroom at a certain angle on the ramps at the end of the halfpipes
-GCN peach beach (same method than mario's circuit)
-GBA bowser castle 3 (literally everyone goes for that one)
-DS Yoshi falls use a shroom at the egg (is not a shortcut but it allows you to do the track backward)
And
- the weathertenko in choco mountain
The ones in Bowser Castle and Bowser Castle 3 are technically not ultra shortcuts.
Giovanni Moya there is also rainbow road but know has done it yet

Luigi Raceway shortcut, Kalimari Desert Shortcut, Choco mountain Shortcut, Mario Raceway Shortcut, Royal Raceway Shortcut, Donkey Kong Jungle Parkway Shortcut, and Yoshi Valley Shortcut.

You can pull off the maka wuhu for mario kart 7 it is very easy to do

Pretty sure you missed the Daisy Cruiser, GBA Bowser Castle 1, Wario Shipyard, Shy Guy Bazaar, Luigi's Mansion, Neo Bowser City, Koopa Cape, and DK Pass Glitches for MK7

In Mario kart Super Circuit, in time trials or Grand Prix You can use a mushroom to avoid to do too much turning , it only works in Rainbow Road original, in the start

You missed one for Super Circuit: On Donut Plains 3, use a Mushroom at the ramp on the second bridge and angle yourself so that you jump over the barrier and placing yourself before the finish line. If done correctly, you will complete a lap, but if you're past the finish line, you're losing time. This cannot be done on Super Mario Kart due to the lack of a ramp on the second bridge.

mkwii shortcuts had you driving out of bounds and magically sticking to walls while mk8 is like a small jump using a mushroom that saves about 2 seconds
