Yeah they should of realized there was no reason for her to lie there and even the way she said it she wasnât frantic or anything like anyone who just killed and got caught she was relaxed and everything. I feel like the crewmmates messed up that round and went full accuse mode when the lights are out which isnât a strong case at all
It was definitely a strange vote. Potentially, Rae just missed it. I mean, thatâs completely possible. That the body wasnât in her vision when lights were off should be a sign aria is contributing extra information rather than, say, being some kind of killer confessing to her sins because of personal pride. Maybe itâs just me, but itâs definitely weird to vote someone out for having extra information in a situation where lights are off. Rae even said she just assumed the body was outside. Sheâs not omniscient about the round because sheâs a good player.
I think they unconsciously placed too much trust in Rae despite the low-light condition.
@@Bludflag yeah I think Rae forgot that when lights are off you can be so close to someone and still not see them. This happened to her in another game where they literally walked past each other and didnât see one another because of the lights being off and they ended up voting off a crewmmate because Rae said she didnât see her but when they replayed it they showed they literally walked past each other up the same hallway lol
@@Bludflag I think they assumed Rae and Aria were outside storage walking in, at which point Aria being behind Rae and seeing her + the body makes no sense at all. In reality they were inside storage. Additionally, Rae was doing gas when the body was killed and didn't see Aria behind her. When Toast died Aria, instead of reporting, walked backwards to find the body's location wheras Rae reported on the spot. (going frame by frame we can actually see this on 5up's screen briefly).
The problem with lights off is that imposters don't have it, and they figured Aria accidentally spilled info she wouldn't have known had she been a crewmate.

The way that Train butts in at 16:10 is actually insane. Clogging comms and moving the conversation away from 5up so smoothly made everyone second guess voting 5up out right as they were about to shoot. And he kept it super low-key so he didn't get any sus for defending 5up either. Super underappreciated play that saved the whole second game there.
Until very recently I didn't think Train was that good but the more I see him play the more I'm beginning to think hes actually one of the better players in the game

Just thought I'd answer this question for many as many seem confused by it including me till recently. 1) 5up knows his partner killed because his kill button flickers for 1 frame 2) Due to the game natively running at 60 FPS, that one frame only shows if the video is running at 60 FPS, so it is not showing because most ppl are automatically running the 30 FPS version of the video. Check out the first minute or so of the video at 60 FPS and you will see the flicker when Tubbo kills Hafu.
