@@TheFirstFTW it’s pretty well known how toxic EUW has become. I used to play in NA in s6 and s7 but switched to EUW when I started playing the game more regularly. EUW is honestly a different animal. I actually enjoyed talking in chat on NA most times, can’t say the same for EUW.
the strength of playing it support is that he doesn't necessarily need to be in any one spot for the entire game. top is locked top. jungle needs to farm camps. support? just run around being a pain in the ass.

i mean yes nunu is broken atm but the gank wasnt successfull, they traded 2 for 2 ind a 2 vs 3, forcing nunu ult while your jungler is free to do w/e and you hardly lose wave, shaco won that
@@TorrePlay i dont think its nunu that is broken but rather how strong hyper gankers are right now. i got a 80% winrate, 25 games on nunu so far and honestly, perma ganking wins you nearly every game. I dont care if i get 40 farm at minute 12 as long as i have 16 assists, a fed adc, mid lane and a very sad enemy jungler

Confuse the enemy, if you're afar, seems to be near, if you're near, seems to be afar, if you're planning a trap with goddamn boxes in obvious locations and actually want to take all the pressure because you know how to escape it, act like an low elo braindead inter. Its why I picked him up so long ago. Before last season I also had my mastery key bound to every key. So everything I did spammed my mastery. Although it wasn't ideal for taunting all the time. But man it tilted people so much harder

Can confirm, it takes a lot of work to have this guys mindset on a champ like shaco, who really doesn't feel like he'd be even have decent at peeling. I tried him out early into preseason cause I'd heard of support shaco and I sucked hardcore, even as a long time support main.
Im a shaco main and the biggest problem you can face in lane are ADCs that go like: Please don’t pick shaco no peel etc.. and don’t know how to play with him in lane.

@@thewolfplayzz9333 I played a lot shaco Support, I'm better in this role with him. Got those problem, it's easy to solve : roam. Your adc will feed and cry anyway. So the best thing to do is helping your midlaner, take some exp and ressources bot when your ADC die. Follow your jungle when he ganks and you change a 90% lose to a 50% win. My favorite trick to do in low elo is trapping botlane. One box jungle side, one box in the bush near the ennemy tower. You're making a narrow route, when they come from the jungle you put the last box to cut their retreat and have fun. Most of the time I kill one of them, 100% of time the adc is too low to stay and have to back.

I've been playing support Shaco this season and last, and it's been really fun. I take the same runes, I play similarly in lane, but I don't play nearly as troll as this guy does - instead I just go hard on damage and vision. For damage, I take Liandry's/Demonic/Sorc's, and I often top the charts. As for vision, I think support Shaco's vision control is unparalleled (I often finish with a vision score of like 2.5/min). Walk into the enemy jungle, ward, box, Q if necessary, and you just light up the map to get objectives and picks.. I'm only Plat, but it was pretty smooth sailing climbing from Gold with this playstyle. I didn't know that Imperial Mandate worked like that, so I'll definitely give it a shot instead of Liandry's. I noticed that Shaco's autos (which passively slow when E is off cooldown) do not apply the mark, but the clone's autos do, and the real Shaco can detonate it. Similarly, if Shaco applies a mark with shiv or box, the clone's autos can detonate it. (But boxes don't count as a separate allied champion, so the real Shaco cannot detonate a mark that was applied by a box.)
There are a couple other shaco players that do that liandries/demonic playstyle, seems pretty fun as well. Much more burst dmg focused I think. Apprecaite the clone info, you are 100% right

I've got to say a friend introduced me to Shaco support in the summer of 2020 and every time I play Shaco I am laughing so much seeing the opposition team tilted by a clown. AP Maokai draws out similar reactions too.

So seemed like this shaco player hat a lot of fun. So i tried it after watching, and well i go 7/1/21 and i won our lane with kaisa so hard. Was just too much fun, never played league like that before.
This is why I LOVE playing Shaco Support. Though in low elo (Iron - plat), it is considered a troll pick. Since players on your team think Shaco doesn't do much. But once you go past D4, it is much easier playing Shaco Support. Laughing IRL and taunting enemies as Shaco in-game, makes the game more fun for me. Sure I'll have bad days where I go on a losing streak, it happens. That does not stop from me playing Shaco Support. Hes a unique champion, with a unique personality that kind of fits my own. More often than not, I do get players that get so tilted, they try to insult me for 1-tricking Shaco Support, I use this to my advantage in matches to tilt them further and secure a win! :)

That is exactly my old playstyle when I was still an AP shaco main, just that he is much better at the game than I was (or ever will be lol) Back then I called it the "trickster" playstyle. You don't win by being fed and carrying through strength, you win and carry by capitalizing on the enemy's mistakes. It's super fun to play and I'm so happy to see a high elo player playing this way. Might even motivate me to go back to shaco, even if it's just a game or two.
i been trying this and getting wrecked, shaco has such a nutty learning curve i am not used to and ive played like over 10,000 games of league with 14 accounts in high plat/low diamond since season 6. it's a lot of fun though! :D
I’m a shaco main and not high level but before I quit after Zoe’s release I was playing shaco jungle, and support. I actually started enjoying support with exhaust and ignite. Like he is a very good support because of the box

I just recently started playing Shaco like 30 games ago (only play him support) and I've already developed a tactic that is exactly what he does, but I did it on my own. I KNEW I was doing it right. Awesome
I remember maining ap Shaco support before the assassin update. Good times. Got up to mastery 6 and I did the same thing as him by spamming boxes at the gank spot and bushes. So funny for a Sona or Soraka to walk into the bush and come out with only a sliver of health or even a satisfying early kill if my adc is with me. Miss how Lee would try and dash but the second box stopped him mid flight, it doesn't anymore DX.
Currently the 9th highest winrate support above janna, lulu, nautilus. If you can master him - you will get to this winrate.(yes pick rate is lower, but clearly the practice pays off)
i recently started playing ap shaco support with smite. in my opinion its very good cause i either steal enemies buffs or just use it to help jg on leash and get to lane fast. and shacos q makes him invincible so its easier to steal drakes/barons with smite

As a Shaco OTP, its a relief to see someone play at the highest of ranks. AP Shaco is dead atm but this man puts hope in my heart :).
AP Shaco is not dead at all, AD shaco sucks right now and AP shaco is the only build that works pretty well.

That is exactly my old playstyle when I was still an AP shaco main, just that he is much better at the game than I was (or ever will be lol)
Back then I called it the "trickster" playstyle. You don't win by being fed and carrying through strength, you win and carry by capitalizing on the enemy's mistakes. It's super fun to play and I'm so happy to see a high elo player playing this way. Might even motivate me to go back to shaco, even if it's just a game or two.

i been trying this and getting wrecked, shaco has such a nutty learning curve i am not used to and ive played like over 10,000 games of league with 14 accounts in high plat/low diamond since season 6. it's a lot of fun though! :D

I’m a shaco main and not high level but before I quit after Zoe’s release I was playing shaco jungle, and support. I actually started enjoying support with exhaust and ignite. Like he is a very good support because of the box

I remember maining ap Shaco support before the assassin update. Good times.
Got up to mastery 6 and I did the same thing as him by spamming boxes at the gank spot and bushes.
So funny for a Sona or Soraka to walk into the bush and come out with only a sliver of health or even a satisfying early kill if my adc is with me.
Miss how Lee would try and dash but the second box stopped him mid flight, it doesn't anymore DX.

I have been playing him sence i started and if you learn him decently you can do good but if you learn his trick is a god outplay champ

Currently the 9th highest winrate support above janna, lulu, nautilus. If you can master him - you will get to this winrate.(yes pick rate is lower, but clearly the practice pays off)
i recently started playing ap shaco support with smite. in my opinion its very good cause i either steal enemies buffs or just use it to help jg on leash and get to lane fast. and shacos q makes him invincible so its easier to steal drakes/barons with smite
