Why would anyone be standing under a skidder when it picks up a load?I've been a operator for 35 years I can't even imagine a reason that would make someone get underneath a skidder
Not l owing the full story. But having worked in logging industry. It is often the job of the equipment operator to NOT swing or go over anyone with a log. The man on the ground might not even be aware that the operator is moving a log over him. If they are paying attention to what they are doing, usually working up trees on the ground. So he could have not even been aware that someone was moving a log over him
Logging isnt dangerous when you take care properly. 99% of accidents are from dumb people or unrespectful cunts. It's a job for disciplined and strong minded (and physical) people.
If it wasn’t for these people doing these dangerous jobs there would be no houses or homes to live in for anyone. So obviously you don’t know what your talking about.
