In a down year last year, Klay still averaged 18/3/2 on 43/39/93 splits. That's better than any other shooter on the Mavericks outside of Luka/Kyrie. WASHED Klay is still better than anyone the Warriors picked up so thinking the Warriors are a better team is hilariously bad. Almost as bad as the Warriors refusing to pay Klay while simultaneously giving Draymond $100 million dollar contract. As far as Klay averaging 18 shots a game, that didn't happen. In fact, Klay's 14 shots a game last year was his lowest shots per game since his 2nd year as a pro in 2012-13.
    Get your shit together guys.

If you’re planning on closing with Klay defensively they get worse, that’s why Naji Marshall was their best pick up. Great Wing Defender and improved shooter

@@justynvallin Nobody said anything about closing with Klay. The Mavs picked up Grimes and Marshall to fill the defensive holes left by DJJ, however, Klay was brought in to be a starter and he's still a better shooter than THJ, Green, or DJJ. This squad got bigger, deeper, and better with the additions of Klay, Marshall, and Grimes. The Warriors were foolish to give him up so easily.

@@jackastor5265 I just think the Mavs got better more so because of the Marshall signing, to me if klay can give you what the shooting that you think he can give the Mavs then that’s a cherry on top. And warriors weren’t trying to pay that man what he wanted that’s why they got Buddy Hield on a cheaper deal

@@justynvallin The main mistake the Warriors made was to bench Klay in favor of a rookie. You can't do that to a splash brother, you just can't. Meanwhile they gave Draymond a 100 million dollar contract. The disrespect was just too much.
Klay in a down year still shot 39% from 3 and 93% from the line. BTW Hield also shot 39% from 3 last year but he's only 6'4" so the Warriors didn't really upgrade there, at least in terms of size.
You gotta realize, Luka is the most doubled player in the NBA, has been for the last 3 years. Klay is going to get open looks ALL year and if teams don't double Luka he's going to dismantle them. The Mavericks not only got bigger with these trades, they got better.

@@jackastor5265 Pods was one of the best rookies in the league last season there’s a reason they put him in the lineup instead of klay. He provides more for the team, if klay’s shot isn’t hitting he isn’t valuable cuz he can’t defend like he used to. I don’t mind the warriors paying Draymond over Klay, Dray was always more valuable in the warriors success than Klay. It’s just the timing of when he was paid was bad. I understand your point of Luka drawing double teams and klay being open but we can’t act he wasn’t just playing with Curry who has more gravity than Luka and sees a defender before he reaches half court with the help being extended as well.
