We do have that merch at Disney World. The other line is more of a winter line than just Christmas. They have the crocs, Goofy sweatshirt, and everything else. I saw it at Disney Springs in World of Disney last week.

The prices for Disneyland or DCA tickets range from $104 to $194. It depends on the date one makes a reservation. The prices for the rest of October are between $180 to $194, due to the Halloween season.
Also . . . if I must be honest, the Swan Reserve doesn't remind of a Disney hotel, either.
We did down town Disney on Halloween night in 2014 lol We ate at the rainforest cafe, I was so sad to see it gone since then!

I agree with Alexa also.... I like Disneyland more. The rides are better, the queues are better, the food is better, you can park hop so easy.
Going on my 15th Disney cruise on Halloween on the Dream from New York. But I highly recommend a 7 day on the Fantasy. Very doable!

Your mom hit the nail with the "community" aspect of Disneyland. WDW is like the "big city" of Disney parks. It's big and grand like NYC/Paris/London. Disneyland feels like a small town community where it feels like the hometown of Disney parks - cozy, quaint, and where Disney fans go "home" to for the holidays.
I was there all weekend and didn't bump into you guys! I would've loved to meet you all! Glad you guys had a great time!
