I want to be like this kid when I grow up.
I sweat just watching this. The amount of work that has gone into this is nuts but the unbelievable commitment and hours of hard practice to get to this level on all these instruments in crazy. Just the skill on one of them is a huge accomplishment but to nail 4 of them is monumental and what's more it is practically note perfect. Total and utter respect. The record industry should be ashamed of itself that it is so crap considering the talent that is out there like this.

I grew up listening to Dream Theater. I don't know if every reader knows this but every musician in Dream Theater is considered amongst the most talented in their respective instrument and or field. They are all legends. This dude just played every one of their parts.

Agree, While he got help with these from Aaron Murray, Owen puts as much effort into the sounds and production as parts he learns. You can see this on his Tik Tok which is mostly guitar. He spends most of the time working on emulating the sounds.

Brother, you are making this look too easy. I've watched every video you've put out and this one is off the grid. This joint is loaded with good musicians; of one instrument or another, and you play them all. I've always been a fan of a good base player and drummer in my music days; backbone of any band. You nailed them both with this production; although I'm not a fan of a dual kick drum. Reason why, I listen to bands with a double kick and it always seems like it takes away from the rest of the kit. Not the case here. A lot of work on the toms and a lot of metal to use as well. Keep the vids coming Owen. You are amazing.

Incredible. I’ve listened to this song thousands of times, both on the album and live at Budokan. I heard one place where he came in a half-step too soon. Other than that, I could hear LaBrie singing in my mind and everything else was perfect.
Half-steps are pitch intervals aka a minor 2nd. When it comes to timing, it would be beat, measure, bar. Just sayin, don't hate me for it...lol
